It's super easy to use with one click of a button. It does seem a bit pricy for the simplicity of the product, but it's worth it cause the product lasts for a while! I’ve been using this product since 2020 and although I have to purchase to a new one every two years or so… I cannot go a spring/summer season without it! I’m prone to swelling when getting bit and have tried all the home remedies. This product is legit! Love it! Loyal customer for life! Literally about to buy my third one after this review. $30 bucks for comfort and peace every 2 years is well worth it! Never wrote a review on anything I buy on Amazon but this product has definitely earned my loyalty!!! Buy it and share it with family/friends.Summer parties my family is always asking if I brought my bite away lol it’s a life saver!!

This thing really gets rid of the itch and seems to help the bites heal faster. It felt a bit too hot at first on the high setting and not as effective on the lower one. I just tapped it on the bite on the higher temp, instead of holding it there steadily, until I could tolerate the heat more. Con: the buttons for the 2 settings don't work well after multiple uses. I have to press them a few times to get the device to heat up. Still worth it for me. Anything to stop the annoying itch and swelling for someone who's sensitive to bug bites.

This product is fantastic! I’m incredibly attractive to mosquitoes, and every time I’ve been bitten, a scar has remained on my skin, making it difficult to remove. I tried this product, and while your skin feels a bit painful when you treat it, it only lasts for a few seconds. After that, you won’t get an itchy swelling. It’s a great innovation!

TL;DR - If you're a fellow mosquito magnet who has tried everything else for relief, buy this!I'm a mosquito magnet. I can sit by the pool with 10 people and I'll be the only one to get bit. Multiple times. Sometimes in the same spots.Not only am I a magnet, but when I get bit the bites turn into giant welts that take weeks to fully heal.I try to counter this by being outside as little as possible, but it's inevitable that I'll eventually get bit. My old remedy was an immediate wash with soap and water (DO THIS!) followed by a prescription steroid cream, which would partially alleviate the itch briefly.A couple weeks ago my dog got off leash and chased a rabbit into the woods. The humid, damp woods that our neighbors literally had a sign made for saying "Mosquito Lake" because when it rains the water likes to stay for awhile.After eventually rounding up the dog I took stock of my appendages. Amid the blood smears (from me smacking them as they feasted on my blood) I came away with 18 bites. I knew I was in for a miserable time.I immediately showered, scrubbing all those spots with soap (again, always do this, it makes a difference!) Then I logged on to Amazon thinking that surely someone somewhere has invented something that would help me.I came across this little gadget. I was skeptical, but the reviews were promising. It would even arrive the next day! I added that sucker to my cart and prayed.Folks, this little zapper is magic! After using it the itch stops. Just like that! On several of the spots I only had to zap them once a day, a few of them I'd zap 2-3x a day as they'd start to itch. But as soon as I zapped I had instant relief! Not only that, but the bites actually heal much faster as well! (Probably because I'm not scratching them endlessly).Does it hurt? Sometimes, and some areas are more sensitive than others. To me, the pain is worth it. It's almost cathartic. I can feel when the pain takes over from the itch and it's almost a giddy relief.I went to FL not long after the dog incident and this baby stayed in my car door. Any time I got bit on the trip I'd zap myself. The sooner you wash and zap the faster relief and healing kicks in (at least from my own observations).Anyway, I know this is a book, but I wanted to impart just how much I adore my Bite Away. If I had to give it any con at all, the batteries it came with died fairly quickly. A quick replacement of fresh AA's took care of that and I was back in zappy business!

Very satisfied with this new tool in my arsenal for Vermont’s flying biting insect hordes season.
