Beef Wellington Bites - A Crowd Pleasing Frozen Gourmet Appetizer (50 Piece Tray)

So, this was definitely pricey ($85+), but it arrives frozen & in dry ice, which is part of the expense. They were an absolute hit at our party. They tasted fresh, not doughy or flaky. The meat was tender, seasoned well & overall a very tasty flavor; not salty either. They also preserved well in an airtight container in the fridge. We all enjoyed them, but I don't think we'd order again, simply because they were quite pricey. If price isn't an issue, get them. You won't regret it!

These were terrible. the meat was very chewy, not a lot of mushroom and shallots, and the pastry was not very flaky. For the price I was very disappointed!!

Picture in the ad shows an inside view of one of these bites and the size of that tenderloin is about a half cube of ice surrounded by a thin layer of puff pastry. Very misleading! All of my appetizers, when cut in half produced one half of an empty puff pastry shell on one side and the other side contained a very small piece of meat that filled, at most, a quarter of the inside of the other side of the pastry shell. The mushroom filling that is consistently added to beef wellington is almost non existent. Extremely disappointing!

not bad when prepared... flaky and crusty...needs a dipping sauce

Easily cooked in the air fryer which yielded an light crispy crust. Taste was good.
