Wein AS300 Personal Air Purifier - Rechargeable

Slight smell but doesn't bother my extremely sensitive sense of smell (allergic to everything). Had the battery unit before and so far this rechargeable version rates pretty high for me. Might be a little pricey but worth it. Hubby dropped it but it still working great (just wouldn't promote dropping). Have had it about a year and very satisfied. Hoping to buy a 2nd one to keep as spare!Update: 5/5/24... still working great. I do blow out crumbs to keep clean once in a while. Has helped very much, along with my masks.

This negative ion generator is the kind that has a needle Corona plasma discharge not a carbon fiber emitter.... Is quite effective and considerably powerful! If you hold it up to your nose you can literally feel the Ionic Breeze it's emitting also you can smell the clean air!!! When I first unboxed it it was completely discharge with the battery and took about four hours for a complete charge. With a complete charge it last all through the day for work for me wearing it about 12 hours it seem to continually work without weakening. When I get home and plug it in it takes only about an hour and a half and then again it's completely charged. I'm very happy with the purchase considering the coronavirus situation and do believe it may help me keep healthy! I have had a similar device now for 25 years when I travel by flying and have had great luck not getting sick anymore when I fly! This does cost more but it is much more effective than the cheaper carbon fiber emitter units!! It also seems to be of good quality and made well and sturdy. Seller was a fast shipper too.....Staying safe and healthy!!!

Helps some when in areas with high levels of artificial scents.

The battery life is fantastic. It also charges very fast. I decided to get this one over the other products because the little brush that is on the other brands that I purchased wears out very quickly and the ionizer does not work any longer. This one has a cover over it and also it fits very conveniently on your pocket or on your neck. I think this is worth the money because I like the quality of Wein products. I also own the whole room version. It is great as well

This must be a reseller who decided to spray fungicide chemicals on all of their products.I cleaned the outside of the product with alcohol but the chemical is also inside of it making the ionized air smell like flowered fake chemical perfume (which all products doused in fungicide smell like.) This is a VERY toxic practice that manufacturers are convinced to use by the sales staff of the chemical industries. Unnecessary and highly toxic for us the consumers.Be aware of using this product and always clean all of your new clothes and linens before use. We live in times where we must look out closely for our own safety. Our health and safety are not high on the list of priorities of big business and agencies.

My only dislike is that it doesn't tell you when it's fully charged, so you have to guess. Oh, and that it doesn't take care of everything harmful in the air. But it runs quietly, the smell doesn't bother me at all, and I'm breathing better, so that's what matters.

first item appeared to be defective. Seller reached out to me and problem was solved in a timely manner. Spoke with seller on 05/20, received my new item on 05/23. The battery is shot after 5 months and there is no way to replace the battery!!I generally like the product although it is much bigger that its former product. I went to use it and charge it up. I took it the next day to use and did it did not work. I thought perhaps something had pressed the button accidentally. I charged again for 8 hours. I tested and it worked well. Again 12 hours later, it was completely dead. Therefore the unit is completely useless!! $119 waisted. The previous models allowed you to swap batteries. This one does not.
