Works great! Highly recommend it!
I saw someone on YouTube demonstrate how to recharge an AC on a similar vehicle that I have. He was using this same tool to gauge how much 134a to put into the system. I ordered one on Amazon, got it in a timely manner, and it worked perfectly - just like in the video. Also, very good price (including shipping) compared to what I've seen in auto parts stores.

Won't find an easier to use recharge system.
I have not found a better way to recharge an A/C than the A/C PRO ACP-400 R-134a PRO Professional Grade Air Conditioning Recharge Hose and Gauge in the over 45 y4ars I have doing my own recharging. The only drawback was that at first the snapon connector would not work because during the manufacture, a very small piece of plastic on the snap mold in the gap between the connectors prevented the snap ring closing sufficiently to snap on. But after removing the piece of plastic it worked fine. When I began the recharge, the needle stayed at zero every time I looked and I thought it was not recharging. But after re-reading the instructions, I learned that the gauge only reads when the handle is released. This is what makes the A/C PRO ACP-400 R-134a PRO Professional Grade Air Conditioning Recharge Hose and Gauge great. Unlike other recharging devices which require that a valve be turned off, this one has a trigger which is very easy to use. Another thing I liked about it is that the L port on my car is located at the bottom of the engine so it takes a long hose. And because the L port has only about two inches of separation between it and the engine and the same between the port and the radiator (which makes it very difficult to screw on a hose) the snapon on the A/C PRO ACP-400 R-134a PRO Professional Grade Air Conditioning Recharge Hose and Gauge connected very easily and disconnected just as easily. For Do-It-Selfers like me, this is a great product. However, I did not use the A/c PRO Refrigerant. Instead, I used a different brand that not only would repair the A?C system but also provide the oil and refrigerant. That makes the A/C PRO ACP-400 R-134a PRO Professional Grade Air Conditioning Recharge Hose and Gauge even better because it can be used with any can of R-134a refrigerant or repair. If it were not for the manufacturing defect I would give it five stars.

I got 3 items on one order: this charging ...
I got 3 items on one order: this charging hose, special oil and 134a for my Camry Hybrid. Checked few videos online before trying DIY. AC Pro web site does not have info on location of low side cap in hybrid vehicle! Spent some time figuring out where it is. Now I know and am expert on charging my own Camry :).FIY: if you need to charge hybrid vehicle you need to buy gas online. All major car parts stores and its employees have no idea hybrids take special oil and refrigerant!!! if you buy ordinary 134a you risk to cause some damage to your AC system!

The temperature adjustment dial isnt alligned along with it being non-returnable, despite having Prime
The main reason of ordering just a gauge is that, i was afraid of ruining my compressor and other parts because of faulty gauge which many has complained about in other products.I thought i would have the option of returning incase if i received a broken gauge but neither in the description nor anywhere in the web-page it is stated/referred as bio-hazard item (which has no basis because it is new gauge and hose>never used).Cant get a replacement nor discount with it.Other product would be far better choice particularly with acp-100ca.update 4/22/14The second main reason to buy this item is that I was under the impression that trigger dispenser would inject/force r134a into the system. But when I used it (with great caution checking with my existing gauge), I found that it only opens up(inside) and the vacuum/low pressure difference in the low side just sucks r134a into the system like any other dispenses with valves and NO INJECTION.I thought that I could transfer all the r134a in the can and leave almost a vacuum and no waste. But the transfer in my case is caused by the low pressure in the low port caused by the compressor. When i reached 35psi or some other unit, the can felt empty and even after pressing on the trigger, I wasnt adding any more (my system was full too). So after disconnecting this, the can whizzed some r134a out and there was a loss.On the good side, this is better than ez chill from the same company(interdynamics). The cable is not that long and I believe is of the same length as the one with the can and braiding is not of fabric but some kind of plastic.I woundnt be buying this item because next year, i might buy a manifold gauge and a vacuum pump which will take all the moisture in the system out and perform at its peak and extend component lives. This is only as good as to get you by in the short run but a manifold gauge and pump cost around 120$ and using these, the chances of ruining hvac parts is quite low (you will have both low and high side reading and compare the performance) while this "recharge hose and gauge" might cause severe problems if you overcharge.Check the product reviews which also has the can.{check out eric the car guy ac in youtube}no option to add any picture.

Works great but not for a discharged system.
I ordered this only to find out that this does me no good. It is very useful for people who need to add to an already charged system but worthless if your system has lost all of its refrigerant as this will charge it will tons of air in the system which will lead to not very good results and a system that will fail soon. While it is useful for people with a leaking system they will be doomed to continuously add more refrigerant unless they add some with UV dye or know where the leak is and fix it. It can be useful but not if your system is completely discharged. Also since you are adding to an already charged system there is no way to know if you added the correct amount and are relying on getting it to 30-35 PSI (most likely) and hoping it is correct.

Two Stars
I keep hearing about gauges going bad on these...seems mine did that as well.

For a few dollars more...
Awesome ! Exactly what I needed for a few bucks more than the cheap ones, you get three times the quality. I have family and friends who rely on me for much of their vehicle maintenance, as well as my own two trucks. My daughters Trail Blazer was blowing hot air and we fixed it up in minutes.
