I have a high tolerance for spicy foods/sauce and this is my favorite. It takes totally different than the original Tabasco. It’s slightly fruity (not vinegar like) and like 10x more heat. Maybe too much heat, but you can use just a few drops. It enhances flavor of everything like pasta, burgers, tacos, ramen, pizza…the possibilities are endless. I hope they never discontinue this sauce!

I bought it as my family likes spicy food. I bought the large size as a joke but it is used frequently. Chicken cooked in this was spicy, very spicy.

I'm not generally a fan of Tabasco sauces, but they really knocked it out of the park with this one. Scorpion is my favorite pepper, with Chocolate Bhutlah and Carolina Reaper close behind. This sauce brings out the absolute best of the Scorpion flavor with just a touch of fruity sweetness. I hate to admit this, but I rate this above more expensive craft Scorpion sauces like Scorpion Disco (which is also delicious). It's just as hot and even tastier.Confession: my favorite food to put this on is pizza. And yes, the sauce contains pineapple. I'm not normally a huge pineapple fan (especially on pizza) but I have to admit... the pineapple elevates the sauce and the sauce elevates the pizza. Try it, you won't regret it (as long as you can handle the heat)

For the people who actually know what seriously hot is, you can have it with this variety of Tabasco, and not have to sacrifice flavor to have it. As far as the extreme hot sauces go, this is the best one I've tried, and can actually get in a realistic amount for regular use. This sauce will light you up! Borderline painful for most humans, but that's what you're after if you buy something like this. Great flavor, too. Not just searing heat. I hope this sauce remains available for a long time,I really like it, and I know other people who enjoy the far end of hot 🔥 will too.

Best flavor for Tabasco

I use this hot sauce for curbing my appetite, and boy does it work. Dip your food in this and you won't be able to finish without pacing yourself. Forget weight loss pills; this is the real deal. And yes I'm aware there are hot sauces with Scoville ratings MUCH higher (this is 23,000-33,000 SHUs according to Google), but this is plenty hot for the price/amount you get when regular Tabasco just isn't enough. I even pour it into smaller bottles to share with friends/family. The hint of pineapple is a great touch and goes with just about anything - even pizza. My best advice is try not to let this stuff touch your lips or around your mouth, it does burn, and wash your hands thoroughly before going anywhere near your eyes (I wear contacts and had a painful experience bc I only washed my hands for about 5 seconds)

I don't eat anything spicy. At all. Super white girl. But our son adores the spicy things in life and especially Tabasco Scorpion sauce. It was very exciting to discover this vat of sauce available here on good ol' Amazon and he was both delighted and shocked at how large the jug was. Flavor 10 of 10 (according to him - I would combust if a molecule of this landed anywhere near my person) and the perfect quantity so he can use it liberally and not worry about it running out anytime soon.Bottom line - if you enjoy hell and want to wallow there on a daily basis, this ginormous bottle is just what you need.

I love the flavor of Tabasco, but it's not hot enough. Scorpion pepper hot sauces are generally excellent, but also generally expensive...so half a gallon of scorpion pepper sauce at this price seemed too good to pass up, especially given that the few complaints about it included "tastes like regular Tabasco" (that is a complete lie, or the people making such remarks have no ability taste anything when a sauce is this hot). I wish it DID taste like regular Tabasco, but only hotter...So what does it taste like?Pineapple. Overly sugary pineapple. So what? Sounds good, right? No. I also love pineapple, pineapple chutneys, sauces, and salsas...but it does not work for this product. I would far prefer the taste of the original Tabasco, not this overly sweet pineapple sauce they've created.It's not the pineapple itself that's the problem, but the balance of the ingredients. The pineapple not only stands out, but it also fails to mix in with the other flavors present. More vinegar and using brown sugar instead of regular sugar would have probably made this an excellent sauce, but they went with a simple sweetness of plain sugar mixed with a slightly overpowering pineapple flavor. It really does not mix well with the pepper flavor, and to be frank, detracts from the other ingredients.That's not to say it's a complete disaster...it's not. It's actually pretty good if you mix it with other sauces (particularly a tomato-based sauce), or add some vinegar, salt, and brown sugar to make it more like a bbq sauce. It's just not very good by itself. It's not a sauce you put on eggs or a nice porkchop with, even if you can stand the heat. Oh, BTW, it is very hot, so if you just want it for the heat, you'll probably rate it higher than I did...it actually delivers a very hot flavor without being bitter like those sauces that add capsaicin oils...this is a real hot sauce that delivers real heat. The only disappointment will be if you expect it to be a good tasting sauce by itself, without mixing it with other things. The flavor would actually be quite excellent if they had not used so much sugar and pineapple.
