Feels as cheap as the price suggests, but fine for the plastic nut I needed it for!
Feels cheap, but it is! So, wouldn’t trust it with a lot of force, but for the price, you can’t argue!

Great, but…
Good tool. I appreciate the large gape and the ease of use. However, it is lacking in the grip department, if it had good teeth it would be far better. Overall, a good bit of kit in the toolbox

Wide Jaw adjustable spanner for large plumbing connections.
Very Handy Tool for basin and bathroom fittings with a short handle, easy grip, great adjustment and lightweight body it performs very well and I have found it useful.

A bit of a mismatch
This is a reasonable quality spanner based upon the price.Manufactured from light alloy the jaws open up extremely wide permitting the spanner to be used for really large nuts/bolts. It is compact and relatively well made for the price. It is its' size and composition which lets it down. I have used this item to attempt to remove plugs from a butler sink and whilst it is compact enough to reach beneath a basin, particularly in an enclosed space, the amount of force required, combined with the limited length of the handle lets this item down. the alloy is just a bit too soft and so whilst it looks ok, for a heavy job, I could not remove the the nut holding the sink drain. In particular when I increased the length of the handle to give move leverage, the soft alloy started to deteriorate when I applied much force. There is nothing wrong with this spanner for light work, but due to the capacity of the jaw's opening, light work is unlkely.

Poor quality not fit for purpose.
Bought this for changing bath taps, poor quality it is not functional, the wheel that you use to adjust the size of the claws is very loose which means that it keeps loosening when in use & you have to keep adjusting which becomes very frustrating, the material is quite flimsy & cheap.Grip is poor due to it loosening when in use. Wouldn’t recognise not fit for purpose.

You don’t need to spend a fortune for a simple job
It works fine!!Spent ages looking for a 60mm plus adjustable wrench. Anything around this price had a load of poor reviews. But alternatives with good reviews were £30- £40. Didn’t want to pay that for a simple bath job, so thought hell just give it a go and it was fine!!

Cheap and basic adjustable spanner
It looks and feels ok, I think is aluminium from the weight - it just says "alloy" on the packaging. Smooth action but needed it primarily to undo the big plastic nut on toilet cistern and the jaws flexed just from that. Definitely wouldn't want to use it on anything metal or too tight if it bends/flexes this much on a plastic nut. It did do the job, and at the price its "ok", but might send them back as so flimsy

Feels cheap but did the trick
Had difficulty getting the backnut of a wash-hand basin. The two challenges I had were (a) finding an adjustable spanner that opened wide enough (52mm in my case) and(b) was short enough that it allowed me to turn it in a confined space to release the backnut. This, and whilst it feels like a cheaply make product, did the trick. It might be a use-once and disgard tool, but I'll keep it for now with the expectation that it will break on the next challenge, or the one after that.
