So, the previous generation of this trimmer lasted me for a long time (4 years) and proved to be a worthy tool.I used it very heavily to stay groomed and it never failed, until the last few weeks!This newly designed Trimmer/Groomer carries over the Lithium Max Battery tech that I have come to expect from ManGroomer.This newly redesigned model is a bit more substantial in one's hand and the buttons for each trimmer end feel more refined, more premium.The adjustable end of the trimmer has plenty of range for really all types of hair lengths you'd have on your body.I find the other end with it's close-cuttimg foil is great for edging sideburns however, it is 99% of the time used to keep my chest and stomach hair whacked down. And it does a great job giving a nice finish that is electric razor smooth, which is different than regular razor smooth (which is usually irritating for me for the first day or so, serious groomers will know what I mean), which is great for speedy trimmings with a great smooth feeling aftwards, without the "tickly" annoyance I get with a regular razor.I'd say this is 10 to 15% larger but it is also more robust. It feels hearty in your hand and makes you feel confident you're not going to drop it.I have used this (mostly) dry but I have had it in the shower and have had no issues.I really appreciated the extra foil they sent with this unit but even more cool was the quaint little bottle of clipper oil that it came with too (and little blade brush... keep it clear of excess hairs and lubed and it'll never let you down)!This is the main reason I attribute to my previous model lasting so long, WD-40 works wonders to keep things humming along.I very much enjoyed the little touches with this set.I have to say, I am a tad partial to the upright charging stand of the previous model (like a skyscraper, more up than out makes for more compact storage, but it still doesn't clutter my "man tools area" much more than before, still nice, even if it takes a little getting used to.Tha battery life is splendid. It said it needed to initially charge for 18 to 24 hours (or however long it took for the charge light to go from red to green) but I didn't have it charging for more than an hour before the unit went Green Light Go!My trimming (if I get behind - no pun intended) may take 20 to 30 minutes, so the claimed hour long or more run time has been plenty for me, and most likely will be for you too.Bottom line: these ManGroomer Lithium Max Plus Groomer/Trimmers have served me well for years, it has lasted longer than the lauded Philips Norelco rechargeable trimmer I had, and really with the redesign and ergonomic changes and the little things like a spare foil blade and trimmer oil, you can't go wrong with this product!!!!

Fellas, do yourself a favor and get this MANGROOMER! your family jewels will thank you. I have used several trimmers and spent countless hours taking care of my "manhood". Not only that, the focus, concentration and the "surgeon" like steady hand it takes when you put a trimmer to that area. I have been shopping, reviewing, comparing; I have done my research and decided to go with the MANGROOMER LITHIUM PLUS over the Philips Norelco and let me tell you how AWESOME it is. I LOVE everything about it: ergonomic design, battery life and how easy it was to use this around the family jewels. Hygiene is a must in my book and the MANGROOMER has saved me a lot of time, but more importantly, it gets the job done and has the jewels looking so fresh so clean and if you are looking for a one-two punch...get the MANGROOMER LITHIUM PLUS!!!

I got this because I tried the lawn mower 4.0 and that left me bleeding everywhere. I’ve always shaved and I like to keep myself smooth so I needed a trimmer that could offer a closeness comparable to shaving without getting cut by the clippers all the time. This was better than the lawn mower but took a while to clear the hairs and still cut me a few times. The foil shaver also shut off once while it was under direct spray of my shower head then took a couple tries to turn back on. It didn’t make me too confident in its “water proof” rating. The trimmer is also really big which is partially expected since it’s a 2-in-1 package but it was ridiculously bulky. There are also a pair of little metal pins which stick out right in the middle of the handle. They’re used to charge the trimmer while it’s in the dock but they make it feel a bit weird in your hand.

I think it is important that people wait and use a product a bit before they write reviews because some products might seem great, but quickly fall off.That was the case with this shaver: It worked very well the first 2-3 times, then started to be less effective until eventually it started to fall apart.I haven't had it long. I got it in Mid January (2020), and even with the length of time that I have had it, I have used it about 5-6 times.At first it shaved well and there were no problems using it; it worked like a charm and I was very happy. After about the 3rd use, it started to get dull and it was pulling my hairs without cutting them. Spots that would only have to be gone over once, took multiple times to shave the hair. And my hair isn't thick or coarse at all.I started to fear shaving around my private area and my armpits because it would pull hairs so much, and that hurts. It even started to nick my skin and soon I was using more care around sensitive areas than a regular shaver, but this was designed specifically for those areas; therefore, that wasn't good.Furthermore, on areas that are relatively smooth surfaces, it wasn't cutting the hair very well.Last week I used it for the last time. While I was shaving the grill fell off. I examined it and it looked pretty cheap and looked like it was just attached to the body with cheap adhesive (a crappy glue).I'm so disappointed. I had so much hope for this product and it really let me down. I have a 15$ Norelco shaver that I've had for four years that works way better than this: built better, still sharp and has a better battery.This is 4x more expensive than that one. At least it could be as good as a 15$ Norelco shaver!I cannot recommend this product to anyone. The good reviews are probably from people that used it once, then wrote a review. But I don't think anyone is buying this to be a single-use product.

Been manscaping for years. Razors are a pain and also has risks. Tried other electric trimmers that claim they work but they dont.Fast forward to this trimmer. Was skeptical but its great. Half the price of others. No nicks scratches or issues what so ever. Shaved my chest all the way down and everything is smooth.
