Good luck not spilling...
It works really well. I am only rating it a four because of the packaging. The lids are so tight (which is a good thing), that when you pop them off, charcoal goes all over. And those who get it, know that a little bit of chalk goes a LONG way. Not easy to clean.

Good values for photorealistic artists
I bought these drawing powders for photorealistic drawings. I am a beginner, so I don’t have tons of experience with this medium, but I did find the powders to be what I expected. They weren’t grainy and gave the values that I expected. I like the size of the container because I had bought (and spent much more) on a big bag and didn’t find it to be as portable as these powders.

Graphic Terrific, 5 stars. Containers, 1 star
Very smooth lovely graphic.Containers a disaster. Can't open or close without it getting messy.Fingers, table...Last thing I want when working with white paper.Buy this for the excellent graphite and put it into better canisters. Easy!

Terrible graphite (very pale, coarse powder). Great charcoal.
The graphite powder is awful, not even 2b in darkness no matter the paper used or number of layers applied. It's also very coarse and clumpy. Frankly, I don't think there's much graphite in it at all, given the lack of shine.But the charcoal powder is fantastic, super finely ground, smooth application, powerful pitch black darks. I'm very pleased with that half of the product.The tubes are *very* hard to open. I'll have to transfer the powder into more practical containers.

Just what I wanted, excited to use it, arrived promptly.
I have not gotten around to using this product yet but it was something I was really looking forward to having and I am still looking forward to using it in my artwork. I am glad that I found it online and it arrived quickly.
