Good painted cedar enclosure for young tortoise.
Great outdoor enclosure for the price for a young tortoise. I like that you can connect two to make a longer enclosure. It is cedar and was easy to put together. I wish the wrap on the clear plastic panels were easier to get off, or you could somehow receive these panels pre-assembly so you could fully remove the protective wrap. All in all, I'm happy with the purchase. It would be hard to DIY something as affordable.

Good for one small Tortoise
PROS: Perfect size for one small tortoise. Has a sun side and a hide side (as pictured) and a long pole for a light stand.ASSEMBLY: came with clear instructions and all parts labeled for ease of use; maker must have read past reviews because the latches and hinges all have been upgraded to metal. If you were to price the lumber (pine) and hardware to create your own, this is a great value! Each side came pre assembled, just needed to be screwed totally together. Over all, pretty easy to put together by following the instructions. Once put together it seems sturdy but over all will shatter if dropped. Pretty light and can be moved around easily.CONS: Over all fit and finish could be better. As you can see in the pics after fully assembled, measurements were off creating a finger width gap between the two doors on top. Although once put together it is functional. Although easy to follow instructions, pre drilled pilot holes would be very helpful. Some places had them and some (important places- like for the hinges and latches) did not. The windows came covered in a film that needed to be removed before use, it was tucked into the wood a bit so I used a straight razor to carefully remove it around the edges.CLEANING EASE: The tray is NOT removable (which is fine) so I will have to get a small broom to sweep up or vacuum for cleaning and changing the substrate. It is plastic so can be wiped down as well.Overall: This will be used for a secondary safe place for my Russian Torti and will be great for that.

CAN be done with 1 person only.
Was able to complete it all by myself, without using a drill. BUT ! i would 100% recommend using construction gloves, So you don’t accidentally get injured like i did. Everything came out amazingly, just need to add more decorations.

Good for price
Larger than expected, great for my juvenile tortoise. Putting together was a little annoying as just one person but with a drill it’s still easy to assemble.

Nice Habitat
I just put this together today. It all seems pretty sturdy. I think the latches could get a small upgrade as they are kind of flimsy. It does smell strong of paint when you 1st open it but by the time i got it together that had dissipated. Also the film on the windows, use a razor (box) cutter and go around it as close as you can without cutting the wood. It will peel right off. Be gentle though so you don't scratch it up anywhere. (Seen quite a few peoples complaint was that film but i had no problems getting it off).I really like it and hope my tortoise will too! If things go South i will be back to update. If it all stays good, I will leave this review at a 5 star.

Okay Chick Brooder.
I bought this for a chick brooder. I didn't see any reviews or questions asking if it would work. So here's that review. It houses 10 chicks pretty well, it will help prevent them from flying out. I could have built one but I didn't.The heat lamp pole could use a design upgrade. Needs to be able to move back and cover a smaller area than the whole open area. Had to use zip ties to make the lamp stay.It works pretty well. I was under the impression (for some reason) that the bottom came out easier like a sliding tray or something.. nope from the top. You will have to take everything out, then take the tray out and clean it. That design should be better. That's why I'm only giving 3 Stars. Cleaning will be a pain.Value for money, eh if you need a chick brooder build one for cheaper. Don't want to build? Then it will work. Cheaper than the plastic brooders (that's why I bought it) they're selling on Amazon. Or any others that are $100+Hope it helps!Cheers! 🥂
