Lingham's HOT SAUCE ORIGINAL, 12.6 Ounce

There’s a reason why this hot sauce is so beloved around the world. It is just flat out delicious and elevates foods that I never thought to try putting hot sauce on, like hotdogs. Not too hot not too sweet. Really great balance. Highly recommended

This hot sauce is awesome. A bit too pricey. It is spicy and sweet. Great for Indonesian and Asian recipes. Great on anything that you want to add a little kick and sweetness to. My 2nd order

This is good stuff. I bought it based on comments by Padma Lakshmi on an episode of "The Hot Ones". This sauce has a hint of hot pepper, but just a little. The flavor is tangy hot, and you can mix it with other condiments (such as Mayo) for purposes of burger, sandwiches, etc. Also a good sauce for eggs, and pastas.I would buy it again, you get a good sized bottle for the money, but next time I'd opt for the extra spicy variety, so it has more punch. Nothing wrong with the original version though and if you want more heat some ghost pepper powder adds the kick.

Like many, I discovered this from Padma Lakshmi on one of my favs - Hot Ones. What makes this sauce great is it's flavor....yes it's a little sweet and it's not very hot, but if you add it to other flavors to balance, it's incredible. I just had it on a Casper hot dog, with sour pickle and light French's mustard - fantastic. Great on eggs, and it's a great mix with other flavors....this is my second bottle.

Been using this sauce for years and am so glad I found it again. It’s spicy and sweet but not too much of either. Can use with just about anything. Seriously, you should try it!! A little goes a long way.

Great tasting sauce.But in the picture you can see the cap was broken and they won't accept a return or a refund.So you're pretty much stuck with it. B.S. Never buy again with Amazon

Okay so I won't lie -- Padma Lakshmi's Hot One's episode on You Tube is the entire reason I bought this. I'm not much of a hot sauce person, but my father is, hands down, the biggest fan of hot sauce I've ever met. He legit puts hot sauce on EVERYTHING. Anyway, Padma loves hot sauce and I know she has a great palate so when she said she ate this on her eggs every morning, I had to get some for my dad. We tried it after he opened it this Christmas and it's pretty spectacular. Although I'm not a big hot sauce fan, I wouldn't call this overly hot. It's more of a sweet hot sauce with like an Asian flair to it. It has a thicker consistency than regular hot sauce to definitely be aware of that before you purchase it, but I like that about it. Too many hot sauces are runny!

Way too sweet. I mean you can add this to General Tso chicken, or use in when you're doing BBQ, but the sugar level really interferes with typical hot sauce foods like eggs
