Fabulous just what I needed for crafting

I'm a bit afraid I'm going to cut myself on it as the metal's got sharp edges. Seems good quality, it's not completely rigid, but still feels pretty sturdy, I wanted something that would last around sharp knives and using when cutting fabric and paper.

It’s a rule so I’m finding it hard to wax lyrical about it but the long and the short of it (if you will forgive the expression) is that it does the job.The rule is really quite flexible which is not surprising given its length but this means you need to be sure to hold it flush to you workpiece.I made matching bookshelves for my children with keyhole mounting brackets. I fitted my son’s bookshelf using a tape measure and the mounting screws are slightly out of line with the keyholes plates.The tolerance I was working to with my daughter’s bookshelf was far tighter as the timber size meant I had to use smaller keyholes plates. I bought this rule for that purpose and I got the mounting screws placement absolutely spot on. This rule was the difference.I would recommend this product.

Really flimsy steel, 1mm (or less) thickness. The numbers are clear and easy to read. However, not very useful as it was shipped curled up and now does not lie flat, its like trying to measure with a piece of card. I feel cheated by the supplier and the product. a 1m piece of steel that is 6mm thick is half the price... Not sure what I paid for, you can't pick it up one handed as you are afraid it will bend and permanently kink. I'm not happy!!!!!!

It measured up to the job

I purchased this ruler because the image clearly shows a ruler with metric (centimeters) on one side (both edges) and imperial (inches) on the reverse. The description states "Double sided and marked ruler". If you purchase this ruler, be aware that what you receive is a single sided ruler (imperial on one edge, metric on the other). On the reverse is a series of conversion ratios etc. Making this product identical visually to others sold on Amazon at lower prices.The reason this gets 3 stars is because it is very thin and flexible (like you'd imagine an ultra long plastic ruler), but it is stainless steel so should be safe to cut against which is on of the primary uses I will have for it.
