Q: My car is parked next to my house. Will this device bother my indoor cat?

My indoor cats are by the door looking out where the car is parked 10 to 15 feet away. I haven't noticed them acting any different.

The pest repellent will work as soon as it is attached to the 12 volt battery under the hood in the engine compartment. The position of parking has little impact on the working status.

Q: How much of a drive on the battery I am worried about it causing a problem draining the battery

If you drive the car regularly you have nothing to worry about. I have my rodent repeller on a car that I only use occasionally. The battery is fine as long as I don’t go more than a couple of weeks without starting it.

Q: Can you recommend where to optimally mount this within a 2019 lexus ux 200 ? the entire hood insulation was consumed by rodents within 6 mos.

i had my auto mechanic install it months ago - i think it’s a good thing! he did not install it as suggested - i think anyplace where it is secure is ok. we have spend $1000’s because of rodent damage!!
