LG AGZ72909711 Washer Pulsator Assembly

The original agitator on my 5 years old LG broke. It is a design issue since the teeth are plastic intertwined with metal. Thus if you have a bulky load or some laundry gets stuck between agitator and tub, it will stress the plastic teeth and will break. This part fit perfect, super easy to install (videos on tube how to), anyone can do it. Comes with the bolt too. Basically easy swap. Only thing is you may want to buy a spare plastic cap (different manufacturer) in case you snap the fragile pins the original cap has. Anyway, saved a lot of waste as well as over $900 replacing the washer. I may buy another spare for the long run since we have two of these washers in the house hold.

Washing machine works just like new. Very simple process and part fits and made better than the original one. Thanks for the help

As other reviewers have noted, an easy fix. Yes it comes with a new bolt and washer. Not a new cap, we used the old one though one plastic foot broke off, it still appears to sit firmly in place through several washings so far.

A very simple repair to get the washer back in business. One cap, one screw, and it’s done.Perfect fit and operating as good as new.

Simple and worth the effort if you watch the YouTube video by Repair Clinic for our LG Top Load washer. This part worked on our WT1701CV we purchased in 2015.There is a design flaw in the Original and after market design that will cause Moldy gunk will get caught between the plastic bottom and the top on this assembly. It’s a question of when it needs to be replaced, not if it will ever need to be replaced.We regularly use affresh tub cleaner and it will help delay how often it needs to be replaced.We unfortunately had to change this a second time this year because someone left the lid closed and then came Hurricane Sally. Needless to say, no power, heat and humidity created a growth environment that required us to remove the top and clean the stainless steel tub with a scrub brush. A dirty tub will sabatoge your efforts of replacing this pulsator, so be sure to check before you replace.

The agitator plate on my Model WT5680HWA LG washer started coming loose. I attribute this to my partner washing very heavy, rubber backed, rugs; however, as you can imagine, this is a matter of some dispute (moving on...) . I ordered this as a replacement. The first thing to know is that when the old one comes off there is a lot of scummy biofilm that you will want to clean and doing so is both physically challenging and an olfactory catastrophe. The new plate fit very well- although- you should be aware that there are grooves in the center point that have to be aligned and then you really need to get the wheel to seat down through those groves- from above without being able to see it. Unless it is seated properly, the threads will not take, the nut will not tighten, and its a futile effort. After a few moments of frustration, I was able to press it down and sort of snap it in to place and then with a socket it is very easy to tighten. One frustration is that the new plate did not come with a cap?? I guess technically it is not part of the wheel, but that seems odd and something future consumers should be aware of. I was able to salvage the cap off my old wheel and use it, after cleaning off the scum, but of course, I would have preferred a new one! Overall, this worked quite well.

Purchased this to repair our LG Top Load Washer WT7300CW. The original part had deteriorated and no longer moved in the tub. Found a video online with instructions on how to remove the old one and replace with this item. Took less than 15 minutes to complete and the washer is back in working order. I also like the underside of this updated part, will be much easier to clean and less areas for mold to hide.
