This is really great dried fruit. I’ve tried 2 of their mixes and love it. The fruit, while a bit smaller than I expected, is soft, has a good color, and is very tasty. I add it to pancakes, oatmeal or mix with nuts and seeds for a snack. Best I’ve seen anywhere. I will continue to buy from them. Highly recommended if you like dry fruit. It makes an amazing white fruitcake for Xmas. My last one was finished in a few hrs at my last Xmas party.

- The "Traina Home Grown All American Sun Dried Fruit Blend" product arrived intelligently packed: No extra packaging for the 5 lbs of dried, diced fruit mix other than the external cardboard shipping box and the sanitary plastic bag holding the fruit medley.- 5 lbs of the dried fruit amounts to 11 pints (2 cups per pint) of dried fruit medley.- After careful examination of 1/4 cup of the fruit medley, I determined that the composition was as advertised, for at least my shipment: The order of ingredients listed appeared accurate for the medley composition (i.e., not overloaded on raisins--which would still be just fine if tipped towards raisins--betting most of us could use more them).- I eat the medley straight from the 11 pint jars in which I store the 5 lbs. of mix. I taste the individual flavors on the palette just fine. I love that I don't have to go to different jars of separate dried fruit products. The mix/medley is well-constructed.- I rarely purchase dried fruits that have added sugar. Only because I have a trusted friend that both assured me and provided a small sample of the medley did I proceed to purchase. The sugar just barely registers on the palette. That said, I would be quite certain that I would purchase the medley, ongoing, without sugar added. Without sugar would be my preference. Maybe offer both versions? But the current sugar level is minimal.- I keep a pint jar of the Traina dried fruit medley on my kitchen counter, my office cube and my backpack. I'm training myself to use the medley as my go-to snack; this hasn't been hard.

Some have given poor review because it is chopped small so can’t taste the different fruits as snacks. I don’t thnk these are intended as stand-alone snacks. I use mine in a n’oatmeal blend (chia seeds, flax seeds, hemp hearts, nut meal/shredded coconut, nut butter, and milk,with Traina as topping). A small handful gives A LOT of amazing flavor to this. I also love it in granola. For these purposes, SMALL pieces are best. To those who didn’t like all the raisins. Yes, this has a lot of raisins. But the flavor of the other fruits is strong, so I actually like it this way. Everyone has their preferences though. Also, the dried cranberries and blueberries can look like raisins if you don’t look closely, but they’re not. So if you look closely, there’s not as much raisins as it may appear To have.

The 2 pound bag of fruit I received was heavy on raisins (listed 3rd) and apple pieces (listed 4th), and light on peach pieces (listed 1st). I was hoping for more peach pieces, still, for me the mix was OK, and crucially the fruit was soft and tasty. There were no excessively dried out hard pieces, so the fruit mix could be eaten either out of hand or used in cooking. If there had been more peach pieces and fewer raisins and apple pieces, I would have given the seller 5 stars for value instead of 3 stars. Overall, I am still pleased with the purchase, and I am willing to buy again. However, my wife is unhappy that there are not enough peach pieces, and she says No to buying again. She does like her peaches...

Evenly cut. Put 1/4 cup into Craftologist homemade oatmeal. Delicious! Buying 5# bag gives 1# free at the smaller bag price. I would definitely buy again but it's going to be 2-3 months before I'll need more. Made muffins.

Those purchasing this product should read the ingredients. Sugar is added-this was disappointing to me since my husband and I are cutting back on sugar.It tastes good but is sweet. It is mostly raisins. As others have commented I, too was surprised to see it was sent in a blue very thin bag that looks like a trash can liner. I debating returning this product because of the sugar added.
