Stella Artois40-Centiliter Star Chalice, Set of 2

Nice glasses make a huge difference for wine, and they make a big difference for beer too. (Stella has a really nice floral aroma which I can barely detect in a bottle or even a highball glass.) This 40 CL glass is ideal for bottled beer---it perfectly holds a full bottle of beer PLUS a moderate head---and the star stem is a little too much fun to hold. If you've gotten this in a bar before, you know. Wish I bought two more for when guests come over.

What can I say? Chill it in your fridge or minibar, fill it with Stella, enjoy!No complaints about these glasses. They look great, feel sturdy. I believe they are dishwasher safe (unlike the "buy a lady a drink" version, which I also bought), but we still wash them by hand, just to be safe. They add beauty to your bar or kitchen. I only drink my Stella in these. After a hard day of work, it is a small luxury.

My wife is not a frequent beer drinker, but when we go out Stella Artois is her favorite brand as it is served in that fancy star chalice glass. When we were looking for some wine glasses on Amazon we stumbled upon the "Stella" glasses that are used in by the restaurants and seen on the Stella Artois TV ads and ordered a pair. The Glasses were shipped as part of a multiple order and were individually packed in heavy brown paper with a heavy layer of bubble wrap.I am a home brewer and know that proper presentation of the beer in a glass has a lot to do with it's enjoyment. To really enjoy good beer at home it is important to have a number of dedicated beer glasses that are only used for to serve beer. In this respect a frozen Stella Chalice really excels. I found that the design of glass with its heavy glass base tends to keep the beer cooler without causing any of the beer to freeze as happens with heavy glass tankard mugs. Here is a hint beer glass maintenance. I have found that if you get soap residue in you glass is hard to get a get a proper head on your beer. Therefore I never put my beer glasses in the dishwasher or use dish washing soap to clean them. Rather right after we finish a beer I rinse them well in hot water let the water drip out and pop them into the freezer. The freezing of the glass will both sanitize the glass but also help release the CO2 in the beer to form a perfect head. I found this to be true with the Stella glass the first time we used them the Stella Artois beer had a flat head. After following my procedure a few times the head comes out perfect just like you see it on TV. .

They're nice glassware and the decal looks like it will stay on for a long time. I do wish they were more crystal like though. The bottoms have swirl marks and the glass itself is a little hazy.They hold beer just fine and are a nice touch of flair for the table.

Because the Stella Artois beer is so very tasty I wanted to have a special glass to add to the experience. We chill the glasses before filling and make an occasion of the experience. Highly recommended. If you have a favorite bar that serves Stella on tap you know about this beer, and I hope the bar serves Stella in the glass. If you have a favorite bar that has neither the beer or glass then immediately seek a new watering hole.

I received one of these as a promotional item and broke it. My husband loved this chalice because it has a very thick stem and is comfortable to hold. The promotion had expired and after finding the small ones on the product website, I checked Amazon (as always) to see if they had a replacement. To my surprise, not only did they have a replacement chalice, they have 3 different sizes and at a cheaper price! The product website only had one size available it was $2 more than these for the smaller ones. I ordered the middle size (the promo was a small), and these are exactly like the promo item, only larger. These chalices are heavy with thick sturdy stems and a sufficiently heavy bottom to lessen tipping. Since they come in a set of 2, I now use one for myself! I would recommend these glasses to anyone, but especially to men who feel the standard stemmed glass to be too lightweight and/or "dainty".

Awesome glasses!! I already own some of the 33cl. and 50cl, but we are in the midst of a move and my organizers went and packed each and every one of my STELLA's!!! I love these as well for drinking my favorite STELLA ARTOIS or my Moselle Wine!! Started using them for wine, because they are so sturdy (I broke a few of my crystal ones), so these are perfect!!

I have never actually reviewed anything because I have never really felt the urge...until today. I am very disappointed in this product. I ordered two sets of chalices for my brother as a gift for his Birthday. They arrived promptly on time . On his Birthday, which is today...I picked up a few beers to go along with them and got ready to wrap it all up. As a last minute moment of curiosity i decided to open the boxes to make sure that they didn't break in transit. To my surprise there was NO LOGO at all on the chalices. I thought to myself...this must be a mistake...surely the other set I ordered has the logo! But no...just a plain glass with a gold rim. The listing indicated that there was a "Full color logo" but nope none to be found. If I wanted a glass without the logo, I could have gone to the local dollar store and paid a lot less. Needless to say will be returning these items. In the end my brother got some beers, a random gift card picked up on the way and an IOU. Suggest that Boelter Brands Kitchen work on their quality control...cause it is lacking.
