Great dog clipper
These clippers are fantastic. Used on bichons and they never snag and the dogs are relaxed

Not as Powerful as Corded But More Convenient
I use this to trim my Jackapoo. We used to use a Wahl corded pet trimmer, which was excellent but, after 10 years of use, started to get very noisy and would vibrate uncomfortably.Pros of this trimmer:1) As it's cordless, it's much more convenient to use, say in the garden or bathroom.2) It comes with a hard case for storage.3) It comes with a few guards allowing you to cut at different lengths.Cons:1) As I glide this trimmer through my dog's fur, the fur tends to clog the blade. This means I have to stop to clear the head of the trimmer frequently. Our old corded Wahl didn't have this issue (perhaps it's to do with the extra power the corded trimmer had).2) The 3mm guard with this trimmer doesn't cut as short as the 3mm guard did with our corded Wahl. Unfortunately, this is the shortest guard there is in the set.I don't regret buying this trimmer as it will get used but, for us, I think the cons outweigh the pros; based on this experience, I will stick to corded pet trimmers in future.

Brilliant Dog Clipper 5/5
Really good dog clippers. I was hesitant when I bought them because my last pair of Wahl clippers were absolutely rubbish. But these seem to just cut right through my springers hair. His hair is long but thin if that makes sense so but it just glided right though it. Normally last time it would of taken me around 3hours to cut him but this time it was half that number. Comes with some decent grades for thick haired dogs. But I recommend getting a little trimmer ( look at the frequently bought together) as this is handy for trimmer hair in between the dogs pours and around private parts. The clipper is a cored and cordless clipper very handy to use to get into some tricky spots. Has the same power as it would been plugged in but the battery 🔋 life is around 1hour 10 if you are using it non stop.

Work well, quiet and good value
Great rechargeable clippers so can cut dogs hair in the garden. Good accessories and cut well. As a novice a started on a longer length and did the job really well. Comes with some instructions but clearer grooming guide would be good as it was tiny print. Good value. I have a standard schnauzer with quite course hair and they worked really well and keep their charge for the whole groom.

WASTE OF MONEY
Worked well 1st use. When I went to use the second time, about 3 months later, NOTHING. would not cut at all. Cleaned oiled as I did when I finished it the first time, still Nothing. I always thought of Wahl as a good make, but not any more. MADE IN CHINA what can you expect? Rubbish, and that's what I got. I was not aware they were now made in China when I purchased them.COMEPLEATE WASTE OF MONEY

Disappointing.
Doesn’t cut very well after fully charging and oiling it. Disappointed as it’s a good make.

HOW TO FIX IT WHEN YOU BREAK IT... Great clipper let down by shoddy instructions.
These clippers are really brilliant - light, fast, quiet, and cut through my (freshly bathed) poodle's hair like a knife through butter. HOWEVER - if you unscrew the bottom blade to clean it, it WILL stop working!Unlike all my previous Wahl clippers, this is NOT how you clean this blade, and the instruction manual is so poorly written that it doesn't even bother warning you that unscrewing the blade will disable the unit.I called Wahl and the (very pleasant) customer service rep told me that unscrewing the bottom blade means the blades lose tensionShe then added two things:1. It's 'very difficult' to fix, so you have to buy a new blade, which costs half the cost of the entire clipper2. The Performer clippers are 'not designed for a curly-coated dog.'NEITHER OF THESE THINGS ARE TRUE.Firstly, once Wahl agreed to send me a new head unit free of charge (which was very nice of them, admittedly) I decided I had nothing to lose by seeing just how difficult it was to fix.Turns out, not at all. Once I knew that a loss of tension was the issue, I only had to look at the head unit for a few seconds before I realised that when you replace the bottom blade, it must be secured UNDER the inner loop of the silver wire spring clip (see photo). Then just align the two blades, replace them in the black cover and screw into place. It's slightly fiddly to lift the spring while you slide the bottom blade into place, but a looooong way from 'very difficult' - and I'm no genius, I assure you.Clippers are now back to being quiet and efficient. On the point of not being suitable for curly-coated dogs, the instruction booklet itself demonstrates how to clip a dog using... you guessed it... a poodle!Basically a very good little clipper for light home use, let down by a really terrible instruction booklet that is needlessly confusing and confused. When we're all trying our best to tackle built-in obsolescence and the throwaway culture it's a shame to see a good company being so slapdash about design, instructions, and staff training. Buck up Wahl!

Knotty Cockapoo - No problem!
Searched all previous reviews for Cockapoo - they were all bad. But I thought for the price, I'll give it a go anyway. I'm glad I trusted my own judgement! My groomer is on sick leave, so my girl's fur has gotten very long, which means she matts so quickly and after getting wet in the bath! So I decided to take matters into my own hands!I researched grooming devices for a while and this was the best and branded (the rest appear to be Chinese knock offs, which I'm always dubious about. This little device cut through her very thick, tight curls easily! I did the second to the last shortest size and she was done all over in less than 30 minutes (with scissors and thinning scissors to her face, also bought on Amazon)Really handy that it's cord free and chargeable, which does not compromise on the power.Very happy I went with the Wahl clippers
