Low-Calorie and Delicious Way to Add Fiber to Your Day!
I have never tried fiber bars of any kind before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I envisioned dry, rough bars that sat heavy on your tongue AND your tummy. But I was very wrong!So, I've been trying to find a way to add a high fiber snack for days when I need a boost fast. I often make my own high fiber energy bites, but when I get really busy my kitchen gets a bit neglected. I also have a tendency to graze more when I'm busy, so I was looking for something that could potentially satisfy my sweet tooth while providing a healthy dose of fiber and energy.These Lemon Bars are awesome! They taste AMAZING and definitely satisfy sweet cavings without putting me in a diabetic coma. Plus, at only 90 calories, they won't obliterate my daily diet! They are soft with a tender crumb - very cake like. The icing on top is stiff, so it gives a rather pleasing pop thats counters the delicate bar nicely. There are ZERO funky off flavors and the bar balances moisture and density well. I have no idea how they managed to cram that much fiber into this bar without making it taste at least a little chalky, but I applaud the results!While they are not organic, they are fairly natural and aren't overloaded with tons of chemicals. When it comes to process foods, I have to make some concessions. But if Fiber One ever makes an organic version of these, I will buy them by the pallet.The bars themselves are not huge, but I personally like that. It's just enough for a quick snack and I'm happy that I'm getting a high dose of fiber which helps you feel full. If you have one of these bars with a tall glass of water, you will absolutely feel full for hours. But, if you have trouble with portion control, you may struggle with the size of these and a larger bar may be better suited for you. Just remember that these bars are only 90 calories, which is perfect for a snack!If you are looking for a quick, high fiber breakfast, I would suggest pairing these bars with some fruit and fresh yogurt. That will give you a great start to the day - fiber, protein, and healthy carbs! Super healthy and enough energy to keep you going for a while!Overall, I'm extremely happy with these and at $2 a box, they are a great way to add a high fiber, low calorie snack to your day!

Tastes like a candy bar (one that chuckles)
Taste is great! Really does make me think of the popular one that’s a synonym for chuckles.Very convenient to have on hand for those who want snacks and/or sweets but don’t want to blow up their caloric intake.It’s not exactly what I’d call a protein bar, but the protein and fiber content are definitely better than grabbing a candy bar. Plus there are some vitamins and minerals in these as a bonus.General Mills seems to have trouble with keeping their high protein Fiber One products available, which is frustrating. But it’s also why I would recommend getting multiple boxes at once here. Just please don’t be fooled into spending more than @$10-12 per value sized box of ten?Seventy dollars for six boxes is (in my opinion and years of experience) absolutely taking advantage of customers.Hope this helps and enjoy your snacks!

Surprisingly tasty!
I’m actually very pleasantly surprised at these! The lemon flavor is prominent and they’re not overly sweet, which a lot of food made with sugar replacements are. They’re decently filling for so few calories as well. There is a good balance between sweet, tangy, and bitter. It was moist and surprisingly tender, with a slightly unique and pleasant texture. I don’t know what it used to taste like when it was 90 calories but I’m quite happy with how it is now.It contains a lot of chicory root, I’m assuming as its primary source of fiber and also to act as a natural sugar substitute. Chicory root has many health benefits actually, so I’m glad they’re using that as the source of fiber. It’s a pre-biotic and actually contains necessary vitamins and minerals like B6 and manganese, can also help with IBS, and has been shown to reduce inflammation.It can cause a bit of gas if you eat it on an empty stomach, but your body usually gets used to the extra prebiotic fiber over time, and if you eat it as a snack between meals, you shouldn’t experience any gas or digestion issues. I have been eating the Fiber One brownies for a while now and I feel like I don’t experience those issues any longer.I definitely recommend trying if you’re looking for a sweet, fruity breakfast or snack bar.
