Good toasted! Very keto friendly!
I have been on the keto diet for 2 weeks now, last week was awful, lol. So many cravings! But I have lost around 10lbs so far, and I want to keep going. However, I am so sick of bacon... and eggs... and cheese... and other meats/veggies... if you're on keto, you know what I mean! Lol. So I bucked up and did something I never thought I would do in my life. I bought a loaf of bread for $12.99. Haha. The price is outrageous- that being said, I am not betty crocker by any means and I pretty much fail at every recipe I have ever tried making (yes even the easy ones). I am a wing it kind of girl. So there is no way I will succeed in making my own keto bread lol. So in my honest opinion, the taste is okay... I mean I would never try it un-toasted. Toasted however tastes pretty darn close to regular bread. I smothered it in butter, and slapped on some smuckers sugar free raspberry jam, and I felt kinda human again! Haha. I have also had it toasted with egg salad on top, and I have tried it with about a tablespoon of natural peanut butter. These all tasted great together. Can I tell that it is no carb- sure. The texture of the bread is kind of thick and spongy. Just like others say it reminds them of a sense sourdough, (feeling not taste) I agree with that. The pieces are extremely small. I would say about the same size as the Sara lee 45 calorie bread. But every time I eat this bread, I am completely not hungry anymore after the first bite. Shipping- supposed to get it in one day, but we had snow so it was 2 days. About 3-4 peices we smushed , but they retained their shape after I took it out of the packaging. I was worried about mold because of other reviewers, and I had no trouble with that at all. I just did the smart thing, kept a few peices in the fridge, and put the rest of the loaf in the freezer. I will take it out as needed. That will make me eat it slower anyway. It is 12.99 lol.. Also I am only going to eat it toasted, so it doesnt matter if its frozen. All in all I am hooked. I have done extensive research on all of the keto websites, and they all say this is for sure keto friendly. 0 net carbs! Good ingredients. Also, if anyone wanted to know if this might kick you out of ketosis, fear not! Lol I ate some on two separate occasions, then used the ketosis test sticks, and not only was I still in ketosis, I actually had more ketones in my system than earlier in the morning. So I'm not worried. Lol. Anyway, I hope this review helped. I am off to go butter my bread and broil it to make a nice french dip sandwich with a little au jus! Yumm! You won't regret it- just do something nice for yourself and buy some bread! Lol have a great day everyone!!!

Don't buy. I'm warning you.
I'm on a new low carb high lean protein diet. So my cravings for carbs have been absolutely terrible. So I decided to look for new options since there's a lot of health products out there now. I saw the mold reviews and decided I was desperate enough to try it. I got it today and I was excited to finally have a sandwich. I look at the product and luckily there's no bread. Now I wish there was. I got the bread which was vaccum sealed and the bread slices were tiny but thick. I shrugged it off because I can easily maneuver around it. When I was done i squished the sandwich to make it softer. Nothing changed. It didn't even get flat. I giggled at the challenge and went ahead to throw the sandwich in the microwave. Usually all bread softens up with a few seconds in the microwave. Not this. I tried again but I didn't want to overdo it and accidentally harden it up worse. I just got the sandwich because I did everything I could and I went to eat... first bite was terrible. This bread wasn't an inch of soft at all. It was just rough and thick. I take a second bite and I nearly puke from a strong chemical taste. I smell the bread and there it was. I haven't tasted anything like this since chewing on random objects as a kid. I could barely swallow it. Now my cravings for bread are seriously gone atm. I feel really nauseous. How can this have any positive reviews?!??

Alright, high in price but decent in taste.
The taste was fine, bread-like. I mainly toasted it but it would have been fine un-toasted. My only disappointment was that even though I refrigerated it as air tight as possible it still began to mold after 4 days. Desperate for some low carb bread, I cut off the moldy bits and enjoyed it for another 2 days. If you toast it at least some times like I do, then it's likely better to freeze half of it upon opening. Otherwise you have the 4 days to consume it all. At $12.99 it is priced high for a bread-like substance but I'm still glad it is an option. If the price was lower I would buy it a more often.

Tastes great, real texture, KETO friendly (mostly)
If I have one slice a day, KETO valus ate unaffected. I tried 4 sliced, didn't completly kill the ketones, but definately dropped them.Toasted with generous helping of salted, grass fed butter, is heavenly. Good bread texture, mild honey taste.Doesn't quite make the "I'd eat it even if not doing keto" test, but close. And it's BREAD.Yes, it's expensive, but it's KETO BREAD. Save it for guilty pleasure, cravings.
