This little brush is excellent for eyelining if you don't have a steady hand. Works for me and is a good value.

I researched liner brushes on several different sites. Most are out of my price range. I'm 55 and use a 10x Floxite Mirror, because of this I require makeup brushes with shorter handles. After considering several brushes I settled on this one solely on the handle length. This is a great brush for the money. Bristles are perfect for tight lining and there has been no shedding. It also works for eyebrows. The handle feels nice and its a great makeup tool for the money. I use this with Laura Mercier Cake Eyeliner and also with Cake Eyebrow Coloring.

I am in my 50's and only recently discovered all the amazing advances in makeup. I mean today when a product says "lasts all day" or "does not crease" it can absolutely be true. Not so when I first learned to play with makeup. You had to touch it up every 2 hours, it looked like a mask, it got all over collars and telephone handsets. I never used a specific brush for a specific task -- just the crummy little brushes that came with products. Things are SO different and SO MUCH better now! I can not encourage you enough to abandon that junk we wore for years and venture on to the new products! That said .....Brushes are so important for great, lasting makeup application. At this price it makes for a really nice set as an eye shadow starter .... especially to try different shapes, densities and sizes to see what works for you. Then you can venture off to higher quality brushes for specific tasks. It would be a great gift for a teenage daughter (or grand daughter). I gave this 4 stars because I don't think you can get this assortment and quality for a better price. There are better quality brushes but not at this price.The bag is GREAT! Feels and looks like real leather and a good size. I am very happy with it. I prefer the flat liner since I "place and squiggle, place and squiggle" and I wish this one was not quite so soft. I dont use the angle liner, (but I may try it for eyebrows). I love to use a pencil brush for under eye shadow placement. This one was a bit large for me, but workable. For a more complete set I would have preferred the angle shader and the tapered blender be replaced with a stiffer little smudger and an under eye cream conceler -- that would have made this the PERFECT starter eye set.

Love Love LOVE this brush for my eye brows! As a 65 year old, my eye brows are very mixed in color. I have tried eyebrow pencils and found most to be too harsh looking even when using the lightest brown (I have blond hair), but by using the Eyeliner Brush: pro Flat Definer Eye Makeup Brush with Thin Flat Bristle Head I can make my eyebrows look younger and fully natural at the same time. By using this thin brush, I can brush on just enough powered eye shadow onto my eyebrows only rather than onto my skin to give a natural beautiful shape and fullness to my brows I have not enjoyed in years!!

This is exactly the brush I was looking for when looking for this particular type of brush, you can tell the quality is above par and this is a very well made tool. The brush deposits just the right amount needed for product and truly delivers for it's intended purpose, the bristles are high quality and for the price, it was a very good find. Will definitely look into other BPro brushes in the future.
