The Best In Creative Bandaging & Repair
Originally I purchased this product for use on my skin, as a way of making my own bandages that would last more than a few hours. I'm a pretty active (and creative) person, and my hands can get quite wet and are often dirty. These cover over smaller bandages and keep water and dirt from getting in. Wearing this product, I can freely wash my hands with a finger or hand wound for days at a time. It's reasonably clear on any skin color, and is extraordinarily flexible. It's versatility is unmatched. And when the time comes, it removes painlessly.Using this product takes a bit of practice. Take the roll, and cut an amount you'll need. The covering on the product comes off in a certain order, and eventually you'll hold the "membrane" in your hands with the sticky side down, then very carefully apply it to the site. Practice with small sizes until you're comfortable using it.I've also found a second use for this amazing product. I use it to heal holes in insect suits I wear when I go work/play in the woods or garden, or when I camp. I remain bug free, and it actually stays on the mesh of my suits. I apply the product to each side of the hole, and when I occasionally hand-launder the suit it doesn't come apart, it stays in place. AND I've saved myself the expense of a new suit.I've tried other systems for homemade bandages and bug suit repair, but none come close to the superb lasting power of this product. The un-used portion of the roll lasts a long time in my medicine cabinet. To me it's worth every penny.
