Puplight
This is a sturdy collar. It is very bright and lights up nicely. Feel safe and comfortable when I am walking the dog in the dark, it was easy to put the batteries in. Is able to be lengthened or shortened depending on the size of the dog. My dog has a thick coat right now and it fits him very well. Come summer time will be able to shorten in to make it fit better.

Love this
The media could not be loaded. Love the brightness and adjustability of the light as well as the size. My dog wears medium collars and this adjusts to fit her perfectly. It shines down when my dog’s head is down but she’s learned to lift her head up to point the light up and look around. If you’re worried about replacing batteries all the time, don’t. This is my second one (I stepped on the first one after using it for about 6 years) and I can’t believe how long the batteries last using Energizers. It’s also handy on night walks and provides light for both of us. Very durable too. The one I stepped on didn’t break any of the plastic parts but one of the three lights went out. Still could’ve continued using it but wanted to upgrade to the new brighter lights. It’s crazy bright, so also good for safety. My dog likes it and waits for me to put it on her when she goes out at night.

Not very bright and burns through batteries
I use this on my dog for a 30-40 minute nightly walk. The brightness is kind of weak and the beam doesn't travel very far.My fault for not paying attention when I bought this, but I would not have bought it knowing it wasn't rechargeable. I think I was looking at too many lights at the same time and forgot to verify that. After two weeks or so the light starts to dim. It still works well enough for cars and people to see us at night, but I hate that I'm going through so many AAA batteries.I started using one of my headlamps on the dog instead. It's a good solution but needs to be the kind that you can aim up or down - otherwise it just points at the ground. It's rechargeable and has a way more powerful beam. Also, at $16+ it's a little too pricey (I paid $5 less). There are a lot of this type of light on Amazon for less, many of which are rechargeable.

Great for walking on dark evenings!
Works well for walking my pooch on those short winter days when it's dark by the time I get home. Light is bright and does stay out of the dog's eyes (although it shines directly into MY eyes when she looks up at me to bed for a treat.....) I use it on it's own, which means she has 3 collars one when she uses it - the normal collar with her tags, the harness she uses for walking, and the light. I decided to keep the light on it's own because it wouldn't work with her easy walk harness and I don't want to constantly take it on and off her normal collar before and after walks. The collar is light and thin enough that it hasn't been a problem. Battery life seems to be pretty good so far, I've used it about 10 or so times for 30 minutes or more a pop and it's going strong. Took off a star because of it's length - it hits the ground sometimes when she sniffs. If you had a really small dog that is low to the ground, I'm not sure how well it would work. But overall a worthwhile purchase!

Works very well in the dark
We love these Puplight collars. They slide over our dogs head easily when it is time to go and they are nice and bright when walking at night. We first tried them with an older dog who was losing her sight and it really helped her navigate. Since then we have bought additional Puplight collars for each of our dogs. I recommend these. I even bought a spare in case one breaks.

Headlight for the dog
After years of using headlamps made for humans on my dog, I finally got her this one and it is configured perfectly for her. She is a farm dog, goes around with us to do night chores which include rounding up sheep and goats, moving them through gates, etc. The light hangs flat and isn't heavy so it doesn't bounce around a lot or hit her in the chin as she runs. She really loves wearing a light and purposely aims it to look for foxes and other nighttime varmints that may be lurking. The light is bright and the switch is easy to access. It has never turned off while she is running, which other lights have. It has never pulled off even when she's jumping around. My dog is fairly large, how the light hangs around her neck is perfect for a larger dog. I don't think the size and design of this light would work as well for small dogs; it might hang too low.

One of the most badly made products I've ever bought
This won't address how well the light works, although it seems rather heavy compared to competitive products when it has its batteries in. I never got that far, because the process of installing the batteries destroyed this flimsy badly designed thing. The AAA batteries fit badly - they have to be installed positive end first, because there is no give in the clip. When I slanted the item a bit, the entire mechanism simply fell out - battery clip and light. Then when I put it back in, the switch just fell out - again, nothing holds it in except the plastic case being closed. By this time it was dark, and I threw the thing into the trash can.

Went through 2 defective lights. Overpriced and Unreliable.
To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I received my puplight and upon one use it would not go 5 minutes without going completely dim. Also the light that was sent to me was pinkish red, not grey and black. I returned the item and was sent another puplight again showed up wrong color, the second light out of the box wasnt fully sealed where it clips in and the included collar was pretty much brittle. Upon use of the second light the same issue occured 5 minutes then dim to almost no light. Also unable to contact seller about issue.I have a 10 year old halogen type headlamp i got for free from oriellys and it puts out more than this light even when its not dim. Overpriced for what it puts out and because of my experience I cant recommend buying. The only reason why I gave 2 stars is because the concept of this light is AMAZING and it should be in every pet store if it worked how it should.
