Great
These stay on so much better than a standard band aid. To be clear though, they are not remotely waterproof. They will stay on when wet. The adhesive holds when wet. But they actually absorb water and the skin under them end up white and wrinkly. Leave them on for long when wet and they get pretty stinky and unhygenic. They should be replaced after they get wet, and if they will be exposed to water for an extended period, get the plastic ones.

WHAT A GOOD IDEA
Why has it taken so long for a manufacturer to come up with this idea of a finger plaster! Normal plasters aren't meant for fingers and in a lot of cases don't go all the way around and not secure enough to stop on. These plasters are designed to wrap around the finger to keep them in place.Only reason I've not given them 5stars is because since we bought the box we haven't had a cut finger yet to actually use one. But Elastoplast we find have optimum stickiness and can't envisage any problems with these in use.Good price for a pack, and if you use less because they stop in place that's even better.

What a brilliant idea!
This is one of those "why didn't someone think of this earlier?" products that come along once in a while.Absolute genius just making the plaster longer so it wraps around your finger properly! No more of those times when you reach for a second plater to make sure the first one holds in place. In all other respects it is what you expect from Elastoplast. Good adhesion, good resistance to water (for a plaster that does not claim to have water resistance) and well priced on Amazon. In short, these should be in any first aid kit!

I am a big convert
I am a big fan of these for minor finger injuries. They stay on so much better than a regular adhesive bandage because they are VERY long. They ARE rather expensive but, in my opinion, it is worth having some to hand since they make a big difference. They claim to be "water-repellent". They do seem to keep the wound dry, but the upper layers still seem to hold quite a lot of water when wet. - so I would recommend keeping your finger dry if you can.

AT LAST....SOMEONE'S THOUGHT IT THROUGH
Each strip is 12 cm long and 2 cm wide, with a pad that is 4 cm long. All of that makes them perfect for those finger slicing repeaters amongst us. My only first-aid incidents these days seem to involve nicks and cuts to my own fingers, but we all know that a bog-standard length sticking plaster will not stay in place for long don't we. These will though. They will wrap right around the digit and stay there to solve those awkward hygiene maintenance issues that can come along even after we've cleaned and treated the cut properly. Why did these not exist when I used to be a first-aider on London Underground stations ?Eamonn
