Great cage for the price
Both I and my African Grey love this cage. When I was putting it together, I got worried that it wouldn't be very strong because the side panels "slide" down on a track between the back and the front. In all honesty, it hasn't been a problem at all. The cage is very sturdy, and the wheels make it super easy to wheel outside on cleaning day. African Greys can be pretty hard on cages with their powerful beaks, and this cage has held up incredibly well. The bar thickness is great. All in all, I like this cage and if (when) it finally wears out, I'll definitely purchase another one.

Sturdy but Difficult to Clean.
I needed help to put this together. Some parts were bent but fixing that was not a big deal. Had to leave off Top Play Pen. Play Pen puts parrot too high which causes aggressive behavior the higher the bird is. Perch on Play Pen is non-adjustable and so much higher than the food cups, I can't see how the bird would eat/drink. Worst part is the bottom grating in the cage that the birds walk on and poop through. This does not remove for cleaning. Cleaning the grating is difficult. Especially if bird is territorial about its cage, the bird must be removed to clean the grating. Cleaning underside of grating is nearly impossible to reach unless you get on the floor to try to get under the cage and wash the underside of the grating. Entrance door is narrow, making cleaning, setting up the environment and reaching for the parrot difficult. Unfortunately, it was set it up just before the bird was ready to arrive home and now too late to return. Also the seed guard is a waste as it doesn't direct the food and droppings into the catch tray but lets scattered seed and poop fall through to the floor. It also adds 8" to length and width of cage. So didn't use the Top Play Pen or Seed Guards. Never would've purchased this or definitely would return if it were possible. It will fit my needs for now, for the most part. I do like that it's on wheels, a good size and it seems sturdy.UPDATE: Raising review to 4 stars. The bottom grating IS removable. Some type of clip (no idea what for) was placed incorrectly and stopped the grating from coming out.

Amazing cage!
I bought the 30"x22"x63" cage and I must say it's impressive. Plenty of room for my Sun Conure and fits a lot of toys to keep him busy. The cage did come a little bit damaged from shipping however I was able to bend the pieces back to how they needed to be with a hammer or pliers. I can't say enough good things about this cage, it rolls anywhere you need it to go and is heavy enough to not be moved by my dogs and cat. The bird feels very safe in it and can fly within the cage if he desires. The birds happiness was my top priority and even though this cage is pricey it was definitely worth it.

Fair Quality, Terrible Design
To be honest I am shocked at the number of really favorable reviews of this cage. Over the years I have bought many, many wrought iron cages but typically California Cages from a pet shop. This cage would never be displayed or sold in any legitimate pet shop that specialized in birds, it is as the price suggests cheaply made. When I received the item, I spent the a fair amount of time straightening bars, flattening skirts and fixing crushed trays. But Amazon was awesome to me in this regard, offering many ways to make this right. In the end, I expected some damage and was willing to accept that because it was convenient to purchase and the price was really attractive. What makes me hate this cage is all the little things that have me scratching my head at the abundant of glowing reviews; do these people ever let their birds out of the cage? Lets start with the skirt, it doesn't overlap/overhang the seed tray. So when your bird is out and on top of the play pen, they typically like to hang out on the edge bar. Well we all know what birds do and since the skirt doesn't properly overlap, the poop runs down the skirt and most of it exits the bottom and down the outside of the cage?! What doens't run down the outside, runs down the inside and since the skirt is mid way up the cage (not right above the seed tray) there is plenty of bars and braces to clean on the inside. This takes me to my next point which is the door. Since you have so much to clean (inside/outside) of the cage below the skirt, it would be nice if the door allowed easy access to the inside; but it doesn't, the bottom of the cage is probably 8" below the door so cleaning the inside is kinda a pain. While I am complaining about the skirt, lets get tot the next point which is the corners of the skirt are also rounded (not straight like a mitered corner). I think they did this to add strength to the skirt, but once again it makes it really difficult to clean as plastic scraper won't contour to the shape (especially if your bird like to hang out at the corners).Ugh, this takes me to the next point. As noted above, there is so much cage below the skirt it makes it easy for a bird to sit on the skirt and reach to the bars below and climb down. Now I don't have a particularly big bird (African Gray), and she quickly figured out the caging on the side below the skirt makes it easy to shimmy down, then the your only few inches above the ground at that point and can easily reach the floor with her feet still on the cage. The playpen on the top is also a bit goofy and poorly made, At the back of the cage is (2) fine threaded screws that secure to the top rail. The threads in the top rail are only tapped half way through this very, very thin tubing. So even if you barely tighten the screws (so not to strip the thread), but the preload from the ladder assembly eventually pull the threads out of the back rail. A simple fix, as you just need to drill the hole all the way through and install longer screws, nut and washer the end.I knew I was going to get poor quality when I spent so little ($300 delivered to the house for the 30"x22"x63"), but what I wasn't expecting was such poor design. Many of these problems could be mitigated with a new skirt design (ditch the rounded corners and create a proper drip edge on the INSIDE of the cage). Just fixing this one item would probably change my rating from a 1 to a 4 star. However if you don't let your bird out regularly. you probably shouldn't have a bird to begin with and this cage is probably fine for you.,

Beautiful cage - Prevue #3153
Super fast shipping ! Arrived 3 days earlier than projected delivery date. Both shipping boxes were undamaged. The interior contents were securely packaged together and all were also undamaged. Having assembled Prevue cages in the past, instructions were not needed. Assembly took me about an hour. This cage is beautiful, sturdy, well constructed, and at a very reasonable price point. Highly recommended !!
