Eastwood's Fast Etch One-Step Rust Remover works extremely well, especially in a powder coating workflow. I use it regularly to remove surface rust and prevent flash rusting after blasting, and it consistently delivers great results.That said, the odor is strong, so proper PPE is a must — gloves, eye protection, and ventilation are highly recommended. It’s acid-based, so treat it with caution. Once neutralized and rinsed, parts are left clean and ready for coating or primer.Yes, it’s a little on the expensive side, but in my experience, you get what you pay for. Did not work at all. Very disappointed
Got this for a 50s project car to remove some surface rust. Not only did it not take off any rust on my car, I tried it on a new piece of sheet metal that had very mild surface rust just from handling and sitting in my garage. It would not even take off the extremely mild rust on new metal! It will also stain anything it touches. I might as well of sprayed my car with oil. Followed the directions to a T. Waited the full 30 minutes. Don’t waste your money. Extremely disappointed as Eastwood usually has good products.

Stripped my whole frame of rusted everything perfect solution quick working make sure you wear a mask cause it taste funny but fantastic work
