BulovaMen Chronograph Watch Lunar Pilot

Arrived next day well packaged. Looks great and fits well even on a smaller wrist. It's about the same size as a Samsung smart watch. The backstory is priceless. Recommended.

Great watch....doesn't seem to lose any time.

This is a great watch. Clear & clean face, comfortable NATO strap etc. The watch is accurate to within a few seconds a year. Though a quartz - I'm a mechanical/ automatic snob - every so often I will be won over, & I was by this. The second hand in the stopwatch sweeps with automatic-like smoothness. But, the two central issues regarding this piece are size & provenance. Regarding size, it is big, but (&, as a couple of reviewers persuaded - thanks a moonllion) it's not too big. Dimensions are 45mm, with lug to lug of 53mm. However, it really doesn't wear that large. I have a baby wrist - @6.75 inches, & it fits & feels fine. Now, provenance. Well, gold dust, or moon dust. Just amazing. It's this watch (Bulova 96a225) that is based on astronaut Dave Scott's Bulova that he wore to the moon in 1971 (commemorated on watch case back) when his Omega 'Speedy's' glass popped. So, this isn't the 'other' moonwatch; it is another moonwatch. I'm really glad I bought this as the size concern was the only thing holding me back, & it's no issue - I was utterly won over by the history of this piece. A very handsome, fantastic watch with a sprinkling of magic moon dust from 1971. Highly recommended

Very well made watch, high quality finish. The high beat quartz movement gives it a very smooth operation. It is large, but that doesn't bother me, I like a large watch I can see even without my glasses on. However, the one thing I would change would be the 20mm lug width which is a bit too narrow for a watch this size and dimensions and it would wear so much better on a 22mm, or dare I say it, a 24mm strap. Bulova if you read this - can you do one with a wider strap next time?

Lovely clear dial and killer looks - not just the other moon watch, it’s a great watch in its own right. Very happy with purchase

Replaced NATO strap as it was to hard and bulky with a leather strap which lowered profile and gave a comfortable wear. Would recommend this watch to anyone who wants an easy to read watch dial combined with superb time keeping
