Fantastic looking chess figures :)
First time I used this mold and I am very happy with the result :)I made sure I don't overfill the chocolate when I poured it in the mold and wiped the sides. The figures are fairly small and delicate therefore they very quickly set in the fridge. We had a good few casualties - including pretty much every single pawns! Bear in mind, I think it's the design of the pawn itself, having a very narrow neck, not the actual mold's fault. I certainly took my time and was very careful when removed them but could not get one out without getting them broken.Anyway, I could easily fix it with a tiny drop of melted chocolate ;) I managed to put the broken pieces back together very quickly and I didn't need to redo any of the figures this way + I don't think you could tell! The queen's crown is completely hopeless to do in my opinion, it's so so tiny, I found it impossible to work with it, and didn't even pour chocolate to the top part at the end. The king and queen looks slightly different so I didn't mind...All in all, I think they look great and everyone loved them! :)

Could be better
I used this for chocolate. Works best if you overfill to reinforce the tiny molded chocolate shapes so easier to remove without breaking, then trim down with scalpel once removed from mold. Also, the mold doesn't lie flat, so had to create a pad underneath to support and level it out.

Okay for price
The mould bends near the tops of the top row of pieces and this means it becomes difficult to put the pieces together later. The mould could do with small silicone feet at the corners and middle edge to keep it level.

No good as a chocolate mould
The mouldings are so shallow that the chocolate is only 2mm thick in some places and shapes all broke as soon as I removed them from the moulds. Have used lots of mould to make chocolates. Chocolate is definately not strong enough for this mould. Had I known the shallowest depths/points of each shape Id have known this mould wasn’t appropriate for chelate work before purchasing. Very disappointed-waste of my money.

Far too small, no pieces stay whole even with proper tempering
I knew the size of the pieces before purchasing it, I wanted to make a very small sized cake. However, even with proper tempering of the chocolate, the pieces keep breaking at the narrow points when taking them out of the moulds with care.

Overall good but a little small
Great chocolate mould. It's a bit small though which makes it hard to get the pieces out so have to fix them by melting extra chocolate to stick them together. So a bit fiddly

Can't get pieces out of mold without them breaking.
The pieces were very small. The neck of each chess piece mold is very fragile. I have tried 3 attempts at trying to mold with tempered chocolate and 2 attempts with thickJelly mixture. Each time I only get about 1 piece out whole. Has anyone got any other idea what ingredient I can try?
