Horlicks Dolce Gusto Compatible Pods (Original, 48 Pods)

Horlicks malted milk as a night time drink also is the most popular household brand name for that drink. These were suited to the Dolce Gusto coffee machines and two pods gave a full mug. My wife thoroughly enjoyed them all, me being Diebetic I did not want to take the risk. My wife said that other types of malted milk are OK but they do not taste or smell like the genuine Horlicks which is so rich and smooth and best for taste.

I love the taste of Galaxy Hot Chocolate so was really pleased to see it in a Dolce Gusto pod as it makes life so much easier. Although it says number 6 on the water level, I prefer number 7 as I find it quite strong & sweet. It's easy enough to alter the level to your taste & you can always add a splash of milk in afterwards if you prefer. It's really easy to make a mocha choca to my own taste by starting with an espresso pod on number 3 & then pop in a Galaxy on number 7.

Tastes more like Horlicks than actual hot choc drink . Creamy and can tell not cheap brand by taste . Med acceptable sugar content and frothy when made

Really tasty. But 2 pods needed for a mug

There are a bit watery, I use 3 in one cup then it's not too bad.

Not a great deal of flavour

Bought this to try and now I can’t leave it alone, for me I use 2 pods and do one on setting 4 and one on setting 3 with 2 sweeteners and it’s just right for me, if you like it strong use both pods on setting 3. I will definitely buy again

Such a good price for the chocolate horlicksI have a small but decent size Dolce Gusto machine my Mum bought meUse it every day, works well, and tried lots of drinks, some more nicer than othersSo my finds on this particular flavour and price…Price currently very good and decent taste of horlicksBecause my machine is used with smaller size glasses, I find one pod enoughHowever a normal size mug, I use two pods before bed timeWatching the colour change from brown from the pod, I pop another in, when it’s near to getting water colour.Using two pods in a standard mug just doubles up to give a full mug, which we like before going to bed.The more water pours through the weaker the horlicks is and tastes weakerAs I said the smaller glasses, are great, a tad smaller than full standard mugs, the horlicks taste lovelyOf course doesn’t taste the same as adding milk with the pan, but it’s a generous tasteHaving a normal mug at night does help us sleep a quality sleepSo highly recommended from us, and very good price from this supplier* I hope I was helpful in my review* Thank you to the seller
