Great little kit for the money. Had to by this as a bit of an emergency, but for the price it does come with everything you would need.The blade on the crimper could be a little sharper, but the rj45 plugs passed without issue.

Used for hard wiring of Domestic house for Ethernet, worked very well had no issues. Minor point with the cable tester the battery connector needed a bit of adjusting to get working but for the price paid very happy got the job done.

Due to the difficulty finding a kit that would crimp cat 6 cable, I've posted this review to help others.This kit has been fantastic at crimping the cat 6 solid core cable that was purchased from toolstation on a 100m drum for around £34. I did buy additional specific cat 6 pass through screened rj45 connectors (they have metal around the sides), so I couldn't comment on the connectors that come with it. The crimping tool is a good quality tool. The wire strippers are great when set up correctly (practise on an off cut first). The cable tester unfortunately let me down. It fried itself. I brought a cheap similar one elsewhere and just for an indication of all 8 wires in the correct order it was good. The case it comes in is lovely. Overall a fantastic value kit. This also punched down the cat 6 rj45 keystone Jack's (screwfix lap brand - about £2.30 each).I managed to get my home network all set up with a gigabit switch in the attic feeding a full bandwidth 1000mbs connection to all rooms. I also have two PoE wifi Access points, which also receive power and full speed with no issues.I hope this information helps someone to get their network up and running.

This is a great little kit, that comes in its own zip closing pack. highly recommended for anyone dealing with ethernet cables. The cable tracking unit is great

Everything works in the set apart from the tester... On the back it has a sticker which says not to use a battery that will supply the unit with over 36v or it will burn it out... I bought a 9v battery and it almost started a fire. Be very careful cheap is not always good

It’s ok for getting the odd job done, but the punch down tool doesn’t work properly and the coax stripper needed adjusting before it would work correctly.

Everything needed and more. Got me out of a networking hole with quick shipping and delivery. Wasn’t expecting the world but actually it’s fairly decent quality for occasional use.

It's cheap for what it does, cutter is not the best but for occasional use is fine, need to make sure rj45 is seated properly,it will cut fine.
