I bought this especially for the white because I was doing a project that had to do with a picture frame and adding black light to it. I used a white lightning detail within the frame and outlined it with the white paint. That white is truly a white glow in the dark paint. I had to trace it 2-3 times to make it pop! And a little bit goes a long way.

Bright & cheerful. The jars was smaller than I thought my project it will not be able to be completed. That is all I can say because I’m trying figure out what to do.I paint outside in the fresh air so I couldn’t comment on smell. For now it’s sitting in my paint box waiting for another project.

I felt a real need to write a review to counter some of the negativity regarding this product, because much of it comes from a lack of comprehensive understanding about phosphorus based paints in the first place.First you have to understand the physics of phosphorus GLOW IN THE DARK paint, because this is a UV reflective paint, the paint itself coats and reflects UV light away from the phosphate crystals used to create the glow, so that makes it more difficult to charge than if it is in a clear or white based paint that allows more light to hit the particles.That being said this paint actually does glow, but you need more than a standard lamp or sunlight to charge it, you need a UV light! It also varies because of the color, darker colors like blue are much more dim and don't last as long as brighter colors like yellow. The longest any of them will last is about 15 minuets, which is about standard for this type of product. There are some phenomenal products that will glow for hours, but they are also only come in white or cream day colors, because as I stated, the neon day light color impacts the effectiveness of the glow.Another thing that needs to be taken into account is keeping it mixed-up properly, if you don't stir it, shake it and keep it mixed, the phosphorus particles tend to settle to the bottom and group together, meaning part of the paint on top may not have much or any glowing factors in it.This is an acrylic paint, so it's good for most plastica and wood, stone, ect., but it is water based so it will not handle long exposure to outdoor elements and rain, and as I've said, it takes more than just sunlight to charge it. I have a little UV pin light that actually works pretty good, and the neon colors reflect very well, then it will glow for a short time when removed.I bought this paint to use on projects like highlights on some of my action figures, to make the eyes reflect back and glow at night, so far I have no dissapoint considering the nature of the product. Maybe some folks expectations are a bit too high, but honestly this product works fine for the unique nitch it's meant to fill!

Save your moneyI got this paint hoping to find a better alternative with a mix of colors than some cheap $5 paint we got for kids. I should have kept my money. I stirred the paint well, dipped some out using a small stir stick that went to the bottom of the tiny bottle, and use all the paint I brought out. Even holding a UV light near did not make the paint glow once we took the light away. Barely any glow. It's outshone by Folk Art paints by a mile which floresce with much less light and glow longer once the light is gone.The texture of the paint is also bad. Even after stirring well, the paint was thin, chalky, and developed cracks. It was deeply disappointing to see my project quality reduced because of this paint.Absolutely regret this purchase and would not consider ever buying this product or a product like it from the company.

I have used a lot of glowing/UV paints and these are some of the best. Vivid colors and great paint consistency. Have bought several times!

I had originally given the item 1 star but changed it to two after I finally got the paint to "glow" heres what I had to doI had to put several coats on the mask I was using the paint on, baiscally the entire bottle had to be used for the mask to glow, this made it not glow in some spots because the paint could not be applied very evenly (it's not very solid, almost watery) After putting on the entire bottle (5 coats) I was able to see the results after I held the mask up to the light.When I got up in the middle of the night after having the lights off for awhile I could still see the mask on my workbench where I had placed it. so it can glow but just know that it takes ALOT of the paint to make an item glow. If you are painting numbers or a message on the wall it will probably work but it will take time and effort.Those things being said here are some other things about itThe bottles in the picture are bigger than the ones I got so pay attention to the size. if I had to say a size I'd say its about half the size of a salt/pepper shaker.Once the paint is applied it's pretty sticky so I wouldn't advise putting it on something you want to hold (like a cup)DO NOT PAY THE RIDICULOUS LISTING PRICE IF 49.99 I don't know in what world it would ever cost that much money, to me that seems like a ploy to get you to think "oh this is a really good deal!" This stuff is worth about $15.00 tops, unless they can make it thicker and make the bottles bigger.In the end it did end up glowing but my negative experience made me give it a low rating
