Reliable alarm, easy to install, convenient
The alarm works well, however, it is NOT loud. This requires that the alarm should be mounted in a conspicuous "active" area. For example, if an air handler that produces condensate is in an attic, then the alarm itself should be mounted in a living space, someplace where it will be heard and acted upon. I integrated the UA-1 Alarm with Diversitech's "Condensation Cop" sensor to provide for a detection and notification system in the event of a laundry tray water event. I am planning to expand the circuit to have automatic water and electrical power shutoffs to the laundry appliances should a water leak occur due to a hose leak, appliance failure, spills, etc.

Nice Product. Works well on my Furnace HVAC
This was installed this on my house furnace and it works perfectly, but I did have to add another product to complete my solution. When the HVAC Drain Overflow Switch triggers, I wanted an alarm to tell me that there is a problem. See attached picture. I just wish the audible alarm tone was louder.

No sound from alarm
Alarm makes no sound what so ever.Trouble indicator light works - so that's something.

I Wish This Was Installed Originally
When I upgraded my AC years ago, the tech added a detector for any overflow of the condensate water that drips from the AC coil and should run through a PVC pipe to the outside. This was important because the piping was in a closed space below the coil and blower. Unfortunately he did not add this remote alarm module (for only a few more dollars at the time).I ended up having an intermittent situation where my AC kept shutting off for no apparent reason. I did multiple troubleshooting steps including checking for condensate overflow. The unit would come back on when I reset the breaker or flipped the installed switch to cut power to the blower. It took weeks to finally determine there was a small leak in the PVC drain line that cause the concrete on which the sensor sat to become just damp enough for the sensor to trip (but not cause a puddle) and cut off the inside unit which stops the whole AC mode. If this remote had been installed, I would have heard and seen the alarming that it was the moisture sensor activating. The remote is actually intended as a system with the moisture sensor. Now that I repaired the leak and installed the remote, if a condensate problem occurs in the future to trip the sensor I will know where to start troubleshooting. Simple to install following the wiring diagrams from the manufacturer.

SUPER quiet... otherwise it's fine as a simple indicator / mild annoyance device
SUPER quiet... otherwise it's fine as a simple indicator / mild annoyance device. This is not an "Alarm". More of a trouble "Indicator"

Good and useful device
The alarm is easy to install and the sound is ok. Along with a water leak sensor, the alarm helps to know when there is a leak in the attic.

Much too quiet
This is less of an alarm and more of a soft beeping noise. It sounds about like the short beeps your microwave makes when you press the buttons. If your HVAC system is inside of a closet, attic, etc, you would probably never hear the alarm.

Fantastic alarm for the price!
Works great! I connected it to my air conditioning's condensate drain overflow system of switches. If the Condensate Lift Pump stops pumping, it's tank overfills, the pump's internal cutoff float switch engages, the A/C system shuts down and this alarm sounds. Additionally, if the Evaporator's condensate drain line clogs at the pan, the pan overflows and drains into a Catch Basin in the Return Air box. There I installed a 2nd overflow cutoff float switch (Little Giant 599123 ACS-2 Auxiliary Condensate Drain Pan Overflow Shut-off Switch). When it senses the pan overflow, it shut the A/C system down and this alarm sounds. I have it installed just inside my Return Air box, right behind the filters. Although it is not real loud, I could easily hear it when it goes off. The "Press to Silence" button is nice, so that you can shut off the noise until the problem is fixed.
