Darwins doubt is for those who want to learn very deeply about Cells and origin of life

Evolution of Species by Natural Selection : A dying hypothesis.
Excellent book that presents a small chunk of the enormous issues Darwinian hypothesis fails to adequately explain. Thanks to advances in Molecular Biology and Paleontology, the debate has only begun. I doubt if Darwin would've published his theory if at the time he had the evidence we have now, both in understanding of Molecular Biology which as a field did not exist during Darwin's heyday and findings in China.Brilliant. The time for a new theory is ripe, exciting times to be alive.

A comprehensive approach towards understanding intelligent design
Darwin’s theory on the origin of life has always been considered to be the ultimate explanatory basis for evolution even though it failed to explain the Cambrian explosion. However, with the advancement in research technology, molecular biology, and other fields of science, Darwin’s theory started facing contradictions and the theory of unguided evolution seemed inadequate for explaining the origin of species. In Darwin’s Doubt, Stephen C. Meyer puts forth his arguments as to why intelligent designing can better explain all the mysteries of origin, all comprehensively and tactfully. The thing that impressed me the most about this book is the way the author has holistically laid down all the points surrounding Darwin’s ideas as well as its shortcomings along with bringing a focus on intelligent designing. Even though I have learned a lot of things, I think I am going to go through it multiple times in the upcoming days so as to comprehend it fully.Although this book is very tough and diverse in concepts, I think this is a book everyone should read at least once to explore the idea of the origin of life.

The end of Darwinism
Thanks to Meyer for such a logical presentation. It is an incredible read and Meyer beautifully illustrates with scientific rigor how and why Darwinian evolution has failed spectacularly in modern day sciences - thanks to breakthroughs in molecular biology. Must read for everyone.

A scientific and logical explanation that can't be denied
I have never heard of Stephen C Meyer until this year. The logical and scientific voice for intelligent design I have been looking for. He explains things in a logical and scientific manner that can't be denied. Darwin did not have access to this kind of data in his lifetime. The genetic code, yes code, is vastly superior and far more complicated to computer code. Code requires a designer and code has a purpose.

Brilliant strategy
You may or may not agree with the intelligent design hypothesis advocated by Mr.Meyer, a theory that, according to him, best explains the appearance and evolution of life on earth. But it is undeniable that the author of Darwin’s Doubt poses a brilliant strategy, and becomes a formidable adversary in rebutting, and in many cases making Darwinist orthodoxy looks silly. The arguments he develops, backed largely by scientific evidence, are in many cases overwhelming, devastating for the adversary; and although he uses them in a kind and polite way, they are actually lethal blows that try to do as much damage as possible. There is no other option when you face the mainstream evolution theory which has become some kind of religion.I personally disagree with Darwin and his many followers, but I also don’t think that the powerful and appealing hypothesis of intelligent design should be adopted as a winner as long as it can limit or hinder subsequent and necessary researchs. It seems like the most obvious solution though.

Scientific and convincing
Being a researcher in the field of biochemistry, I felt this book was my kind of read. Meyer brilliantly argues from published scientific literature that the evidence points elsewhere than what is popularly regarded to be the origin of life. It is a great review of scientific literature on the topic of evolution and convincingly makes the case for intelligent design, causing the reader to take a hard look at the evidence. If you're not an expert in the field, it can become technical in some parts, but that is to be expected in such a book. Meyer has however done a remarkable job trying to make it understandable and applicable to a wide audience. It comes highly recommended from me as a scientific read and for those inquiring into the origins of life.

Raccomandato
