Putting this together at first was a bit tedious. Very important to securely tighten each and every nut before use.The burner happened to be adjusted perfectly so when it fired up an almost invisible light blue flame. The cooking process was very enjoyable once safety considerations were fully executed.We did a 15 lb turkey in about 55 minutes. A 14 lb turkey takes about 47 minutes. It requires about 4 to 4 1/2 gallons of peanut oil for a 15 pounder.Turkey fryers can be dangerous! Don’t EVER attempt to fry a frozen or partially frozen turkey! It must be completely thawed and dry; or you could burn your house down.Do a little research with YouTube videos so you can avoid the dangers, then you can truly enjoy the frying process.The best turkey my family has ever had. We will never go back to conventional turkey. It’s not greasy either; just incredibly moist.

I don't want to gross anyone out but your customers who like to be self-sufficient will understand. We raise our own poultry for eggs and now meat. It came time to cull the many roosters we hatched earlier so in setting up our butchering station, we thought it would be practical to use a turkey fryer setup to scald (soften) the feathers for removal. the size of the pot is absolutely perfect for one bird at a time. The propane stand is very sturdy and being able to adjust the heat as the process continued was very much appreciated. The whole package was delivered on time and good condition. We did get the instructions, we followed to the letter and also watched Church's video on Utube. We used Church's Cajun sauce injected into turkey. Best Turkey ever. We got the oil to 350 degrees but after putting the turkey into the oil, the oil never went back up to 350 degrees. We cooked the 15 lb turkey in 52 minutes to perfection. White meat is usually to dry for me, but deep fried turkey breast is soooo good.

I bought this to use for frying a Thanksgiving turkey, and it turned out great.Pros:•It heated 3 gallons of peanut oil to 400°F in about 30 minutes, and kept the oil around 360°F with no problem during cooking•easy to assembleCons:•no assembly instructions, but you can guess how to put it together just from the pictures•hard to clean, but any oversized pot will be hard to clean•regulator dial is backwards IE turn right to open the valve and left to close it. We accidentally turned the flame off when we meant to increase itI would definitely buy this again. Our turkey turned out really good

The media could not be loaded. I got this for our Maine vacation home to cook our lobsters. We only have an electric stove which takes too long to heat a large pot of water to a boil. This propane cooker is perfect. It heats the water fast and the interior basket makes it easy to lift out the lobsters. We cooked 8 large lobsters at once. Yum.

The pot came severely bent and I had to bend it back into a circular shape so it would fit into the burner. The lid doesn't fit properly now. However, Amazon refunded my money and told me to keep the burner...Really??? Sign me up! The burner and pot worked great for our seafood boil and we have since used it serval times and we are happy with this purchase!

We LOVE our deep fryer! This was the ultimate gift for my boyfriend. He finds anything and everything to deep fry. I gave four stars for the warmth and thickness because the first day we used this, it was a bit windy and took a few hours to get up to temperature. We’ve since become pros and found the perfect corner of our yard with minimal wind. I would still recommend this product to any of my friends/family!

Very convenient to use. Since we were going to be home, we decided we wanted to try frying a turkey for Thanksgiving so ordered this. It was great. Used it again at Christmas and the turkey was even better! We used it for large quantities of chicken wings which were also very good and now looking forward to using it for lobster in the summer.
