Worth it!
Best heater I have ever had, got two last year my mums heater stopped working I gave her one and she liked it so much I let her have it and got another this year, no smell, works fast keeps room nice and warm, I love that when it tips over it automatically turns off, it has to be on flat ground, it looks great it’s small and doesn’t take up space but powerful at the same time. Saves on the bills, when we are in the living room no need to wait for heating to heat up this happens straight away with this. Would highly recommend.

Good quality, good value mini fan heater
I've been using this Ansio mini ceramic heater in the shed for just over three months now, December 2018 to March 2019. So far so good.Compared to our Honeywell heavy duty fan heater which is in the garage, this Ansio unit is more compact, made from better quality materials, has the same functionality and has better heat output. The fan noise is similar to the Honeywell and hasn't been an issue for me. The "spread" of heat from the Ansio is narrower than the Honeywell, probably because the diameter of its fan is smaller. This might also explain why the Ansio feels hotter even though the Honeywell is rated higher at 2500w.I didn't read the instruction leaflet so it's been on a multi-plug extension lead from day 1. No issues so far, but obviously the manufacturer's instructions should be followed.I have it on for about an hour at a time every other day. I'm happy to say that the top & sides & back of the unit don't get warm at all during this use.It takes fifteen to twenty seconds to get up to heat, which is about the same as the Honeywell. The heat doesn't extend much beyond a few feet in our drafty shed so I have to stay reasonably close to it to stay warm. Again, no different to the Honeywell. There are two dials on the top of the unit: a thermostat dial and a function dial.I haven't used the thermostat at all yet so can't say how accurate it is.The function dial has 4 settings: off, fan-only, fan+1200w heat, fan+2000w heat. The fan has just the one speed, same as the Honeywell. It has a spring-loaded button on the bottom of the unit which turns the heater off if it comes off its resting surface by more than a couple of centimetres.Overall, a bargain at less than fifteen pounds in my opinion.

Perfect for us!
We have a static caravan and now the temperature is dropping, I was looking for a heater to provide instant heat but was also as efficient as possible - though obviously an electric heater is never going to be overly efficient. Some research suggested that a ceramic heater would be the best option for our needs.I saw one in Aldi for £20 but on the off-chance decided to check on Amazon.I was really pleased I did because I found this little gem at a cheaper price! It's compact, easy to use and blasts out a good amount of heat. The follow up customer service is excellent and it has a 2 year warranty. It is a little bit noisy but that is fine for us as we tend to put it on in a different room eg. in the bedroom before we go to bed. I'm not sure it would be great sitting close to the heater and trying to watch TV.This aside, it is brilliant. It does everything we need it to do and is excellent value for money.

More than enough heat.
I was looking for a small heater as a localised heating unit, as my normal convection heater takes ages to heat the room as hot air rises, so the warmest part is the ceiling!Having an Ansio branded vertical fan heater, which I found very good, prompted my purchase of this heater. I read reviews, but I didn't spot the comment in the Amazon listing not to use it with an extension lead. I discovered this in the user manual. Quite rightly, IMO, Ansio are paying attention to safety issues as the reference is a precaution as extension leads are usually used with many devices plugged in, and importantly, used at the same time, without the majority of users having any idea about electrical loads and current drawn on cabling. As this unit can pump out 2Kw it is imperative that it is not used for continued periods of time, as the current drawn can cause overheating in leads, and a potential fire issue, if these are thin and not designed for such use.I have been monitoring its use with my heavy duty extension lead on the lower setting without any issues, but I would still be very wary of extended use at 2Kw. An hour or two on the low setting has been satisfactory in my 20 sq. meter room, at which point I then move over to my convector heater. I've also monitored it using a T-P link smart switch, and which I found does get slightly warm, but no worse than my laptop charger which does get warmer. But something for me to continuing to monitor to be on the safeside. As for the unit itself, it perfectly fulfills its purpose, with very good heating capabilities. Yes, the fan does make some noise, but how this impacts on a user will vary. For me, using the low setting, I hasn't impacted on my TV viewing the volume of which has remained unchanged. It is about the same distance from me as the TV. If I could wish for a change in the design it would be for a third, lower, heat setting at around 600W. Other than this, this is a very nice little unit and, provided it is used with care, and unless a user knows what they are doing, don't use an extension cable, as advised by Ansio.

Great little heater
I bought this a year ago, and I’m pleased that I did. It’s small and compact and warms my workroom efficiently. I like the fact that it has two heat settings, and also that it has a safety feature, meaning that it cuts out if it is moved from an even surface. It does have a noise, but to me it’s not distracting. I would definitely recommend!
