I need a time capsule for a ground breaking ceremony and I am so glad I found this in Amazon.It is made of stainless steel, looks very sturdy and durable, big enough to hold documents and mementos and provided with a silicon gasket to make it water proof when sealed shut using the screws provided. Would definitely recommend this to others. Very good value for money.

Bought this for my daughters class. It is made with great quality material, seals well and it's waterproof. It was a bit pricey, but well worth it it will be buried for 10 years before it's opened.

The price and quality. I guess that it might not survive a building collapse. We put it in the brick base of a statue.

This is a beautiful looking time capsule, I was initially quite impressed by the look and design. It came with the tools needed to assemble and gloves to keep it looking great during assembly. It is large enough to stash a good amount of items. I removed 1 star because the screws that were supposed to be stainless steel were highly magnetic, the washers somewhat magnetic (probably low quality SS) and the lips of each lid were magnetic. The tube itself and the nuts have no magnetic attraction, so that's a positive. This could have been a beautiful piece that lasted a long time underground if they would have spent a little bit more on the hardware.
