Allergy-Time Chlorpheniramine Maleate 4mg Generic for Chlor-Trimeton Allergy 1000 Tablets per Bottle

My dog has allergies and was prescribed this by his vet...three weeks of medicine for $20. And want $50 for an office visit to check on him before willing to write refills. I got a bit suspicious at that and in doing my research, found this is OTC and I can get over a years supply for less than ten dollars. The dog can't tell me if it's working as expected but his itching is better and I'm not out hundreds of dollars a year. Works for me!

I bought these for my lab, who has allergies. I wish the vet would have told me a lot sooner that I didn't have to get this medicine directly from their office, would have saved a ton of money! Anyway, same stuff and works just as well and the price is fantastic. I didn't give it five stars because my lab can't tell me if it tastes good or not.

Bought for my wife, She usually buys the bottle from Walgreens that has 50 tabs (Walgreen brand). We just wanted a larger bottle. Sorry these did not do anything for her allergy, she felt sick whenever she took one so although he ingredients are the same something must be different in this brand.......Went back to Walgreens!

They do not work as well as the simply right allergy multi-symptom from Sam's Club, which you cant buy anymore, you have to take more of them more often, but better than nothing.

These have been great. It has become impossible to buy chlorpheniramine maleate at local stores, so we ordered this large bottle many months ago and we're still using it. I gather many folks get this for their pets, and we have used ours for ourselves AND one little dog with allergies. They work fine!I don't know if all are scored for breaking in half, but these are scored. As usual with this type of pill, they don't all break cleanly, but it does help a bit when you take them by halfs, as I do (as does our dog), so I appreciate not having to use a pill cutter.

I felt this worked really well to control my allergies, however it did make me drowsy. This was surprising for me, since almost no medications which claim they make you drowsy do make me drowsy. So take that for what it's worth.

Wow, I totally found these by accident I don't want to talk about the price and what an incredible value these are, because they may increase the price. I have to take allergy pills year-round due to an ear problem and let me just say that the big chain drug stores where I buy the pills charge $6.00 for 24! This is awesome, don't stop selling these! I am tempted to buy more but I think 1,000 will last me for a bit. I found the effectiveness the same as the brand name and the savings amazing!

It does work, giving me allergy relief without drowsiness, but I have to take two tablets instead of the one Chlor-Trimeton tablet.
