Prairie View Industries SFW230 Portable Singlefold Ramp, 2 Feet x 30 Inch

I just received my new ramp, the 2ft by 30-inch one, and it's perfect. Very sturdy and steady. I was able to take it out of the box and use it immediately. I'm using the ramp on a single 4.5 inch step that leads from my kitchen into my driveway and I am finally FREE! I can leave the house with my power chair and it feels great. Within minutes of the ramp's arrival, I was out the door and taking a "walk" through my neighborhood. Something I haven't been able to do for years.Even though the ramp is very sturdy, it doesn't weigh a whole lot. I was able to set it up easily, even with arthritis in my hands, and when i was done using it, it was easy to fold up and set aside so it's not in the way. I didn't need any help at all. It feels good to be independent again.

This size ramp is perfect for our needs. It helps my wife, who can only walk with a walker at present, get in the door from the front stoop, about a 4" step up. We will need it for the next two months...maybe longer pending results of surgery next month. Not only does it meet our needs, it also is a great help when we go to visit her father. Build is very strong, it is easy to deploy, and it stows in a trunk or back seat for transport. She can't set it up herself, but I think this 2' ramp is light enough that most people could handle it. I bought this ramp because I have a mini van with an automatic ramp in a lowered floor. The curb is too high in front of my house and the ramp won't deploy. This ramp is just the ticket. It fills the gap between the floor of the van and the curb for easy wheel chair loading. It also works well if I have to park on the opposite side of a street and don't want to deploy the ramp onto the street. I just ramp the other door to the sidewalk and load or unload easily. It folds easily and is small enough to keep in my van at all times without taking up too much room. It also works great if you have to get a chair up just one step. Highly recommended.

We bought this because my husband, who had a stroke, had difficulty stepping down into the garage. He can do that very easily with this. Although we don't take his powered wheel chair outside, I believe he could use it get into the garage.

Very sturdy! I was impressed with the quality and value. My step was just a little too high for this short ramp, ended up being too steap. I returned it and got a longer one from the same manufacturer. Step is appropriately 6” high. This ramp length would be fine for a walker but it was too steap for the electric chair, the chair wanted to tip over. Gave it 4 stars based on build quality and sturdiness.

Very pleased with ramp. To be portable and easily carried, it feels very safe and sturdy. Meets our needs exceptionally well.It is also such a pleasure to do business with a company still manufacturing here in the USA!Double win!

this are so handy, we can put them out in minutes, and it is so easy to run the wheel chair right up them and into the house. It was just what we needed.

This ramp fit perfectly between garage shelves and the threshold going into our house. I am able to walk across it as well as drive a full sized scooter on it. I wasn’t sure at first if this would support the weight but when I opened the package and saw the quality with which it was constructed, I became confident it would work for us - and it did!
