So much so that on the first page the publisher had to present a justification of why the they legally are able to steal Jordan Peterson’s intellectual property and publish it.Peterson’s work is based on a lifetime of psychological study and experience - which is why it is so powerful - and why his book is so successful. This “summary” of Peterson’s concepts is a useless simplification that has no value.An irony is that a fundamental principle of all Peterson’s life and work is the importance of basing everything we do on principles of “truth”. There is nothing truthful about the unauthorized use of someone else’s work to make some money.By selling this book, Amazon is complicit in in this fraud. Jordan Peterson’s books have sold multi-millions of copies. As the largest bookseller, think how much money Amazon has made off this author. For Amazon sell unauthorized rip-offs of their best-selling author’s work is an act of senseless greed.Amazon should not sell this book - but if they do, you should not waste your money by buying it. Get the original - real value at about the same price.

Felt ripped off, beck Jordan Peterson name was on the cover. Thought I was buying his book not some knockoff interpretation scam for this price.

This is not the actual book, it's a summary

The summary was direct and to the point but also went to great lengths to make sure I understood and implemented to the rules to my life. I've read summaries from this publisher before but this one introduced a new element, I think they are called the Rules in Action, but basically is stories of characters with real world problems applying the rules to their life. The insights guide in the introduction of the book made the content familiar and the action plan at the end is making it easier to actually apply these rules to my life. Can't wait to read the full book now to gain even more insights.

I am amazed at the number of 1 star reviews saying things such as 'This is a Scam', 'this is not the original' etc etcIt says SUMMARY in HUGE FONT on the cover. THIS IS A SUMMARY! And a very good one.This is not a scam one bit -- but a great condensed version of the equally excellent 12 Rules For Life.I'm amazed how many people literally do not read what they are buying -- the word 'SUMMARY' could not be any bigger on the cover!This is an 80 page summary that can be read in one day -- and you still get all the major takeaways from the original book.

I am about to be a father (expecting in September!) and this book weirdly took a bit of the weight and anxiety off my shoulders. With all that I have seen immigrating to the US and everything hectic in our world today it's a bit overwhelming bringing a baby to the world but... it's really not that bad and if faced head on, with purpose and meaning, everything will be great! Rant over. It's a great book and has simple and practical advice that is much needed today. Hope you enjoy as much as I did!

I enjoyed the book very much. The rules are very down to Earth and simple to understand with a lot of good arguments. However, coming from an academic background I wish Dr. Peterson could have taken more of counter arguments. But still a great book overall and brought a bit more balance to my life!

During recruitment there is so much networking, forth and back, follow up, travel that it's difficult to enjoy my reading habits, especially since I'm recruiting for two very tough industries: tech and hedge funds. This book was quick to read, which was perfect for my current situation, and also helped me to keep more order in the crazy lifestyle of recruitment. Ive read executive growth summaries before and enjoy their professionalism, it hasn't changed one bit for this book. Can't wait to see what they bring out next.

For 2 more dollars you can have the whole book. This is a very short version of the real book. Never would have bought it had i knew.
