Lodge Pan Scrapers. Handheld Polycarbonate Cast Iron Pan Cleaners. (2-Pack. Red/Black)

Where have these scrapers been all my life? These things work great! I use them to scrap stuck 'stuff' off my cast iron and stainless steel pans. They're great for removing stuff and they don't damage the pans. None of the scratches you get from using scrub pads and they don't dig into the seasoning on cast iron pans. I love the different curves on each side. It seems like one of the sides always fits the part of the pan I'm trying to clean. These really are great. Be aware that these don't last forever. After a few weeks of fairly hard use, one of the scrapers is starting to fray a little bit. I don't see this as a flaw. I'd rather these scrapers get beat up than my pans. I'm happy to have to buy a new set from time to time. I like these so much, I bought another set for a friend and she loves them as well.

I bought these Lodge Pan Scrapers when I bought a Lodge 13.5" skillet, but returned them after I returned the Lodge skillet, which I regretted and ended up repurchasing. It's a great skillet. I had the chance to actually use the Lodge Pan Scrapers and they are sensational. Not only were they good for scraping the food off the Lodge skillet, but because they are made of some kind of strong plastic-like material (and hence do not scratch like a metal scraper or Brillo pad), I used them to scrape off adhered on food on my Fat Diddio food rings 9 (which are 18 gauge stainless steel) and the ultra-sticked-on price label that was attached to my stainless steel Thuong Long Vietnamese 8oz. coffee pots that are used to make Vietnamese style coffee which is made using condensed milk. These Lodge Pan Scrapers removed both of these last mentioned adhesives against stainless steel without scratching the stainless steel. So I cannot recommend this more highly. Thy are terrific. Suggestion: Make the same scraper but with a long handle so that one's fingers are farther from hot water when using the scraper to remove impacted food, price labels, etc., from the surface of kitchen appliances such as skillets, food rings, etc.

So glad to have these!!! I recently started cooking eggs as a regular part of my breakfast, and, though they have not been an issue sticking to my Revereware skillet (hard stainless, apparently, plus high polished, and so it tends to stay clean and shiney), but there's always that little straggler scrap or two which is stuck, and I didn't want to load up the dish brush with eggy bits, nor did I want to use my chainmail scrubbie just for a little scrap of egg. So, I got these and they work perfectly!!! I had another scraper which was softer and I like these better because they're nice and firm, they're just great little scrapers. Wish I got them a long time ago!!

Our previous pan scrapers were made of a flexible plastic. These scrapers are made of very rigid plastic. While I had intended to use these on our nonstick pots and pans, I did not feel comfortable doing so because I was worried they would scratch the nonstick coating. Since we have now changed over to stainless steel and cast iron pans, I can say that these work well. I still wish they were a little flexible to help get the corners into some of the crevices that some of our pans have (particularly around the joints connecting the handles to the pots/pans). Because they are so rigid, I do feel like they will last longer than our previous flexible scraper. They do not give when they are used on stubborn cooked on food. I also throw them into the top third rack of our dishwasher to clean them if they get excessively greasy, and they are holding up well. Even after several months of use, they look brand new.

Where have these been all my life? These are great to scrape off the crap on pans they fit perfectly in your hand. Good grip.

These Lodge pan scrapers are amazing when you use them to clean out your cast iron pan after using it. I was unsure about this but now that I have been using my cast iron pans daily to cook my breakfast eggs it is so easy to scrape everything down (while the pan is still warm) and quickly wipe out the pan with a paper towel and I am done cleaning and keeps my cast iron smooth so eggs don't stick.

This is a great help in cleaning pans. We use it everyday. It has straight edges and curved edges that help get goo off of pan bottom and the sides. We then throw it in the dishwasher and it's ready to go. No cons.

Wer Gusseisenpfannen hat braucht die Dinger. Man kriegt super einfach alles mögliche Eingekochte weg und hat die Pfannen im Nu Sauber. Viel einfacher damit eine Gusseisenpfanne zu reinigen als Stahl, bei denen man ja kratzen muss wie blöd, oder Teflon, bei denen der Belag schon beim ansehen runtergeht. Diese Dinger zusammen mit einer Pfanne (hab ich auch von Lodge) machen glüclich. (Mich zumindest)

El plástico es duro y de un buen grosor. Va muy bien para soltar restos de comida pegados de cualquier recipiente. Las esquinas con diferentes curvaturas hacen que se adapte bastante bien. El plástico a primera vista parece muy duro, pero claro, si se usa con frecuencia para rascar sartenes de hierro fundido no sé lo que podrá llegar a durar. Es lo que falta ver. La primera impresión es que son un poco caros pero si duran bastante estará justificado.

They may appear to be small, but these robust little pan scrapers work much better than first impressions suggest ! They fit nicely in small hands, work on plain stainless steel and "nonstick" surfaces (do soak pan first for nonstick pans, though). They have various edges so straight, curved edges all get cleaned and I've even got into nooks and crannies on the back of baking trays that I had given up on. For those who are eco-friendly, the scrapers reduce the need for lots of chemicals or even eco-friendly dish soap to shift the burnt-on bits - and I've cleaned fatty frying pans, hard patches of burnt lentil soup and the cheesy grime from double-use Focaccia trays as part of Church batch bakes, so they've gone through their paces. Keep them handy and maintaining clean cookery stuff is within your reach!
