I got this to use in my living room with the idea to make a "family tree" of photos coming off the branches around the cherry blossoms (I attached a photo of my finished product). In the kit, you get 105 wall stickers on one sheet and most of the pieces are numbered to correspond with the diagram on the back of the packaging showing you how to make the sample tree. It was a little frustrating to try to read the tiny numbers on the diagram, so much so that I had to use a magnifying glass - they'd be better off including an 8" by 11" diagram inside the packaging that makes it much easier to decipher. I just used the diagram to get the base of the tree and branches up. The wonderful thing about this decal is that you don't have to make it exactly like the sample and you have creative freedom with where you want to place the branches and flowers. I custom designed mine and I love the way it turned out! The manufacturer measurement for the finished sample tree is 54" by 43" and my custom design came out just a bit smaller. The item description states it's best to use this on light or white colored walls but I used it on my brown wall and it turned out just fine, though the pale pink blossoms are a little harder to see than the dark pinks ones.The Roommates line of wall decals is the BEST on the market that I have ever used and whenever I need wall decals, I will only use this brand because they are so easy to use with no transfer paper required. Just peel off the sticker and smooth it onto the wall and they are truly damage free. It works best to smooth the decals with a mini hard squeegee or even a credit card to get out the air bubbles and ensure a smooth and firm fit to the wall. While I was making my tree and arranging my photos on the branches, I had to remove several pieces and move them around and as with all Roommates decals, they came off with ease and left no damage or residue behind. I've never had a problem with these peeling at all.It took me almost 2 hours to get this decal set up on the wall, mainly because it's time consuming to find the numbered decal on the sheet. Though it took a while, the final result is beautiful and I'd highly recommend these to anyone looking to spruce up a room.

My daughter's nursery is decorated with a Bird & Cherry Blossom theme. I had some decals from Pottery Barn that were 3-4 times the price, but where one big piece that went on straight away. Those were fantastic - but very expensive.This tree looks just as good and sticks just as well, but boy is it a pain to apply. It's in 105 pieces - presumably so they could squeeze the whole big tree on small sheets of decal paper.Anyway, it was a real pain to put up. Took at least an hour - probable two (I did it in shifts). The hardest thing I found was that the guide and the decal sheet weren't exactly the same. For example, the guide might show a dark pink flower with the number 35, but when I scanned the sheet, I couldn't find any dark pink flower with the number 35. Only later would I stumble upon a light pink flower with the number 35. Anyway, I learned that the colors on the guide may not match the colors on the sheet, and that realization helped. Still was annoying.At the end of the day, this is a gorgeous decal and the price cannot be beat. Even if it takes a while, the $ savings are significant. So all in all, I'd say a good product that employs smart cost savings.I would get this again if I needed another one. Great product. Looks beautiful and just as vivid as the expensive stuff.

This tree was beautiful in my daughters nursery for over 2 years!! We finally ended up changing her decor now that she's a toddler but I'm so happy to say the tree withstood over 2 years on her wall! There were a few petals that peeled up over time but you could stick it right back up and it would stay. It was such a hit. We would always get compliments on her wall because of this gorgeous decal. I couldn't believe how easy it was to put on too. I was 7 months pregnant and did it alone with no issue whatsoever. I used the picture on the package as a reference as to where to place the flowers. Her wall color was a beige and the tree colors popped still so if anyone is wondering what it'll look like on a light beige wall, it'll look great! I would definitely buy from here again, thanks for the amazing product!!

Sticks well (been up for a month and none are falling, even after many were repositioned several times), the fact that they are truly repositional makes it easy and less stressful to apply. Looks great- a bit smaller than it says when assembled. I ended up getting a second set to make my tree bigger and still had enough pieces left to make a branch coming off a window. There are a lot of pieces and the instructions on back are very tiny to read when assembling so be sure to have some time available when you end up doing it. I also love that the pieces are easy to assemble however you want if you do not wish to fully follow the exact layout given. I would've given it 5 stars if it was just a little cheaper since I have to buy two sets to get the look of a full size tree- other than that, great stuff- would definitely buy roommates wall decals again.

I was able to apply this in about 45 minutes. There are a couple of comments about the stickers peeling off after application. I would perhaps speculate that they were applied to a flat-based wall paint. The bathroom wall here is semi-gloss (as are most bathrooms I believe; easier cleaning.) and ideal for these stickers.I read some of the comments about using the "apply-by-numbers" feature. That was a joke! (NOT your comments! Trying to use those microscopic numbers!!) I ended up just eyeballing the picture (which also could have been bigger ...more helpful!) and applying the stickers accordingly. My girlfriend was very surprised and we both enjoyed the finished product.As for the manufacturer (who will never read this review!), they could perhaps include a pull-out picture with LARGER labels/numbers, if they actually expect customers to use them! Even my reading glasses were no use.

It was easy to assemble and looked wonderful on our wall. You can peel it off and reattach it if needed, but try not to do it too many times as it won't stick in the end.We were very pleased with it.

Ein schönes Wandtattoo. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es, weil es durch die Abstände nicht ganz so einfach an die Wand anzubringen ist, dass alles passt und weil es dieses Tattoo nicht gespiegelt gibt. Wir haben es links und rechts vom Bett, aber dadurch leider nicht symmetrisch. Es ist auch schwer, beide Tattoos halbwegs gleich anzubringen.Aber sonst ist es sehr schön und die Teile haften gut an der Wand und lassen sich problemlos wieder ablösen!

It's the second one I've purchased made three different moves over 5 years before it stopped sticking as well! A few flower colours don't match the numbers when you're putting it on the wall, but it was still easy enough to figure out.
