Worth It
Sometimes you spend some money thinking it’s probably better but how good can it be. Maybe I’m just jaded after so many woodworking purchases that clam you will get professional results. But this blade was worth every penny. I had a number of doors a carefully veneered with matching grain zebra wood, any chipping would have been a disaster. I also had a fiddleback maple veneered mirror frame piece I had to rip to make the 4 sides, less of a disaster if it went wrong but would be annoying none the less. Cut all the pieces with zero chipping on either side! Not sure how long it will last, I’ve done a few veneering projects now all with great results, but the blade saved me on the first use so I’m very happy. It’s fun to watch cutting too, you can see the V in the alternating teeth shearing the wood.

Best blades for hardwoods
I love Forest saw blades for excellent cuts on hardwoods like walnut. I have a 3HP Sawstop table saw and the plywood veneer is perfect for cross cutting 4x8 walnut sheets. Forest blades enable the feed rate to be high enough so I never burn walnut.

Smooooooth. Nice.
Careful. Sharp. These are great. Cut lots of walnut ply and rosewood laminated panels. Clean cuts top and bottom.

Best ply wood blade i have found.
I have used many ply wood blades, and this is the best I have found. I have numerous Forrest products and have never been disappointed. They are a great company to deal with and do a great job reshaped blades when they get dull.

Fantastic blade for plywood! Almost no tear out even w/o a zero clearance insert.

TOP OF THE LINE
I have used many high priced saw blades in the past 40 years. Some of these blades were well worth the money and others were not. In 40 years of high end custom milling and cabinet works this is the very best product that I have found. Not simply a razor sharp cut, but the ability to hold that razor sharp edge for months without ever showing signs of needing attention. Honestly, I have never paid to have my original "Plywood worker" blade sharpened. Yes, I clean my blades regularly, and do not misuse them. Bottom line, I liked the original blade so much that I immediately ordered another. It still sits in the shipping packaging waiting to be called on ! Even a number of large bamboo plywood projects have not presented any sort of a problrm.

Great plywood blade
I now own two of these. I use a lot of plywood and because of my particular application I need to cut square pieces of 1/4" hardwood veneer ply diagonally and then make additional trim cuts to size. Using a regular Forrest Woodworker II I still often got chip-out on certain cuts. With this blade the cuts are now nearly perfect with almost no chip-out. With normal cross cutting of plywood sheets the cuts are smoother than with any blade I have ever used. Although it is expensive, this blade is a winner and worth the cost many times over.
