This dandy little water filter will save me oodles of money from all the bottled water I have purchased over the years. Plus I no longer have to deal with recycling. Yeah, on that. And I like that it's small and doesn't take up a lot of room in the kitchen sink. It taste okay (for plain water) and I feel safe knowing the filter will keep contaminants out of my body. I'm glad I bought it and highly recommend this product for healthier living.UPDATE: 19 Feb 2023 I've been using this Brita close to one month. Now, in the past week, it has dripped water from the regular faucet side when I have the filtered faucet side on. And the water looks cloudy and leaves a frosted residue in bottom of my glass pot. I've cleaned the pot with a solution of white vinegar and water. But I shouldn't have to do that every two weeks. That's nuts. I'm going to try a different washer and see if that clears up the leak problem. If not, I'll need to contact the company and maybe return the product.

great way to have better water in an apartment. Easy installation. Includes pass through so you don't 'waste' the filtered water. Warn users to turn the faucet BY the faucet not the filter, as i have seen the fitting break over time when they use the filter as a handle!

3 stars, 4 stars. But not 5 stars. Need strength to get it on the faucet & it's a drippy little thing. Drips last maybe 30 seconds, so not too bad, but still. Also seems a bit fragile , like either the switch knob will break or the entire plastic system. Water taste hood so that's a plus.

This works amazing I have always had well water and this chlorine water made me gag but this filter changed all the easy to install I love it

If I could give it zero, I would. Yes it was easy to install and yes it worked (when it worked.) But for the most part, it was awful. It leaked, came off the faucet entirely multiple times, sprayed water everywhere and became unusable. My son turned the faucet on and the entire unit fell off into the sink and myself and my carpenter boyfriend cannot reinstall it. The screw on part of the unit that attaches to the faucet is ceased up entirely. It no longer turns whatsoever. So we cannot reinstall it. I bought this on June 2nd and it’s now August 26th. So it lasted less than 3 months, I didn’t even have time to use the second filter. I hand wash dishes, we do not have a dishwasher, but I did not use the “filtered” water for that. I only ever used the filtered water for ice cubes, drinking water, and to give my cat water. I would estimate the amount of time I used the actual filtered water side is less then 5% of the time I was using my faucet. This thing is made of cheap plastic, installs like cheap plastic, and withstands like cheap plastic…. I would not recommend buying it unless you want to be doused with water at 2am or have your young child rinse a plate and be covered in water. I wanted to replace my fridge brita container (that I absolutely love btw) to save space in the fridge… this was so disappointing I came straight here to write a review which I never do unless a product is that bad. This is THAT bad.Also the return policy on this is 30 days, just long enough for you to realize it’s awful and not be able to get your money back.

The product was easy to install and worked fantastic at first. Using a filtering water pitcher was not practical when it takes a while to filter just a few cups of water. With the filter attached to the faucet, that seemed to solve our family's drinking water shortage on super hot days. However, one morning after we came back from a family trip, when we turned on the faucet, it started spraying out the right side all over the counter and leaking on the left side. We took off the filter and inspected it and have no idea why it started. Now it sprays/leaks more then it actually filters. Had it not malfunctioned this would have been an easy 5 stars but it unfortunately did not last long so we'll give it 3. Hopefully we can find a resolution with the manufacturer or whomever.

I love this item. It makes my water taste fresh. Glad that Amazon always have it in stock. Thank you, Amazon.

So a week or so after installing this it began to spray water out of the back of it. I was very disappointed and contacted the seller about it. They were very helpful and replaced it right away. I have not had any issues at all with the second one. I’m very happy with the product now.
