I bought these Fiskars bypass pruning shears after my off-brand garden clippers snapped after just one use, and the difference is huge. First off, I want to say I'd give it a solid "5" star rating if it didn't sometimes have difficulty springing back open. Other than that, I love this thing. It has very smooth and precise action. It is lightweight, strong, comfortable to use, and easily cuts twigs up to 3/8" with a simple squeeze. It is great for trimming back various "intruders" that come though my chain link fence from the neighbor's yard, and takes no prisoners when it comes to honeysuckle vines-- I can gather them like rope and cut large amounts at one time. And, it fits nicely in my overalls' side pocket. A quality tool, indeed.

Good quality and worth the price, u use them to trim flower stems and also to trim my plants! They are sharp makes clean cuts!

After a few uses, the blade is completely dull and it bent after I tried cutting a 2 cm branch. Surely not what I expected of Fiskars.
