A Staff is a long rod which is spun similar to baton twirling, but with a longer staff which is twirled or "spun" around the body utilizing arm and wrist movements. These staves are typically lightweight in nature in order to build up momentum and speed for faster moves and tosses. A Contact Staff is a long weighted rod which is used as a type of object manipulation, similar to contact juggling. A heavy staff is used to slow down the rotation and momentum of the staff, making balancing easier for on-body contact moves. Instead of spinning the staff with just your hands, parts of your body such as your neck, shoulders, forearms, elbows, chest, back and legs are used to control and manipulate the staff. All of our Staves are made using the highest quality materials and are designed to withstand abuse from ongoing drops and tosses, providing you with years of enjoyment. Each staff is engineered for optimal spinning dynamics and balance. Contact us for other color, weight, wick or custom length options. One Ni-MH AAA battery required for each Ultralight. Available optionally. Trick Concepts has been a family owned and operated business for over 10 years, located in Los Angeles, CA. We use high quality materials and manufacture onsite, which allows us to transfer the savings onto you. Our line of products are designed and created by Jaz, a mechanical engineer and custom metal fabricator and Scorch, an artist and fire performer. This was not worth the cost or shipping time!
The balance on this one is tilting toward one end, badly. I tried to add some washers to the lighter side but it isn't working. Also one of the LED lights is split, and the instructions on how to program the things are impossible to understand.Inside the clear casing for the lights, they shift around and rattle... A lot! I tried to add some foam to pad the lights on the attachment side but that doesn't seem to help at all.

Perfect practice staff
I bought this for my wife as a practice staff before she starts moving on to spinning fire. She loves the weight and different light settings. Our only complaint is that one of the holes drilled to lock the end pieces with light up sticks in place was placed incorrectly. We can get it locked, but not as securely as you would expect.

Very fun
I love playing with it a lot. I use it every day. Only downside is having to take it apart to turn the lights on and off.

Holds up well.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Actually holds up pretty well to drops and leds are very vibrant. Its a little heavier than what im used to but still fun nonetheless.

Battery syphon, but great quality
Durable, looks great! Biggest flaw is the 4 separate lights and batteries that have to be replaced frequently. It takes quite some time to replace the batteries, and the strobing lights kills the batteries fast. Not recommended for performing, but for practice and fun, it's great!
