It has two main body zips and one smaller at the front. The compartments allow easy access to everything you need, with ties on the sides to compress the bag when not full or just to slim the profile. My 13” Mac fitted great and could hold several folders. I particularly liked the small pocket on the front (or very back as you walk). It was great for all the usual wallet, phone, keys etc when cycling. Despite this being 5 stars, I didn’t keep or use the bag, as I was after a hold-all style for a large lunch bag. The main compartment was ample, however I felt that the middle compartment would get neglected and decided to return the item. This would suit a train commuter/cyclist due to the ties on the side, sturdy fit and comfort. While testing the bag, I found that no matter how many items I loaded, the comfort was still there and the straps have a non slip material down the inner Center. My summary is that this is a great bag, and would suit anyone from college, university and working lifestyle. Due to the design, this would even be a great over night bag, for people working night shifts and just want some food, laptop/tablet and a change of clothes with them.
