Is the current product to be shipped near it's expiration date?

I bought mine March 2014. The curry was packaged 10/2013 and has an expiration date of 9/2016. Although I take the expiration date as a sell by date. The last curry powder I had expired 18 months before I finished using it. The new curry tasted the same to me.

Is this product gluten-free?

The ingredients are: Coriander Seeds, Turmeric, Chillies, Cumin Seeds, Fenugreek Seeds, Fennel Seeds, Trifala & Nagkeser (Fragrant Spices), Cloves, Cassia, Garlic, Curry Leaves and Salt.

Heat is quite individual taste. My assessment is that it is mild to medium. One member in our home can not eat hot stuff. So when I use this, I add no additional red or black peppers. It is quite authentic and delicious for us.

What is expiration date of product

It has a 2 year exp. Date. I'm sure it's good for longer than that, but 2 years is on the can.
