DollaTek 5Pcs D4184 MOS MODULE MOSFET control Module Field effect MODULE

I bought this to power a 10V, 10A device I'm making and control it using PWM through an Arduino.Long story short: it can only safely handle up to about 1A. Yes, ONE ampere. That's 2.5% of the rated value.At 6 amps and with 14AWG wires (far, far thicker than needed), it became something of a spectacle in my workshop. I was thoroughly entertained to watch the board heat up to the point where components actually desoldered off themselves.It's as if the resistors and transistors were forced into submission at the point of manufacture; their souls trapped onto a mere 2D surface by the hand of a ruthless profiteering scheme. At the first opportunity, they broke free from the shackles that tied them down for too long.Much to my amazement, the wonderful D4184 board wasn't a one-trick pony. Oh no no, far from it. Just when I thought the show was over, I heard a sharp squeak and then... POOF. The board went up in a puff of smoke, like poorly dried firewood.And that's all, folks!Please draw the curtains on this. It is nothing close to what it is marketed to be.
