Do not purchase for UK version of RNS315, V9 is the latest stable version in UK!

Despite my vehicle not being very old, my maps are now 3 years out of date. I find myself driving along roads that the satnav thinks are fields. New roads built back before this update in 2015-16 are not showing. So you look for an upgrade. First impression is wow what rip off but the fact it doesnt work for UK vehicles is simply unforgivable v10 had this problem and now v11 too. Pull your finger out VW!VWs lack of action to resolve this compatibility issue shows how little they value customer care. I have now reverted to using a mobile phone as to be frank VW maps were years out of date when they are new so its probably realistic to consider that V9 which is stated as released 2017-18 is probably more like 2014-15.The fact taht VW effectively stopped updating my satnav when my vehicle was only 2 years old is shoddy. Probably cheaper to just buy a new stereo that will be properly supported.

Version 10 and 11 will destroy your head unit in the UK had to buy version 9 to get it working again, (keeps switching the head unit off every 3 minutes,)Version 12 is supposed to be out mid January 20 will have to see if that version is stable before I purchase it.
