LEGO Duplo 10884 My First Balancing Animals

I bought this for my Grandson. I thought it was bright, a good size for little hands (not too big nor too small), easy to put together and he would have a toy to play with when built. He will also 'grow into it' as he starts to explore the basic principles of balance, ie putting the animals on so they are level. I did not see it as I got it delivered straight to child who lives a long way away. It is bigger (the pieces and the built animals) than I thought it would be so is safe for a toddler to use. He certainly looked as if he was having fun with it during our video-call. I purchased from Liz's little bookshelf seller and got a follow-up email about what to do in case of non-delivery. I'm pleased all round with my purchase.

These are so cute, easy for a little one to handle and no small parts that you have to worry about them putting in their mouths. Duplo is so good for their fine motor skills development too and a good introduction to a Lego mad family like mine!

Great toy - my little one loves making the animals and trying to balance them. Bright and colourful and the good quality you would expect from a Lego Duplo product.

Very good first constructions. Just put the head and body. But for a moment my 21 months old son prefers simple lego duplo blocks or cars.

Love all Duplo as I bought it for my girls when they were little and have still got it and my granddaughters now play with it!

Bought for my 9 month old so he has something to play with when we are playing with my 7 year olds lego (to stop him making a dive for the small legos he could choke on). He obv too little to really 'play' with them but it wont be long until he building away with his brother. A bit pricey at £15 but its Duplo so you know its gonna be good quality & will survive much bashing & throwing.

Bought for a first birthday for a little one who loves playing with big sisters Lego duplo. All large pieces so suitable for her to play with straight away.

Simple yet playful and keeps our kids entertained for a long time.

Super cool for a 3 years old. They can put it together themselves, unlike a smaller traditional Lego tiles, and get to give those animals a theme part experience.
