I love how nice looking this plunger is. it hides the black ugly plunger inside of the casing. It also functions really well it’s a sturdy plunger.

OXO always knocks it out of the park and this is no exception. The holder effectively opens and closes, trapping gross liquids in place. The plunger works well. Everything has a great finish, is sturdy, and easy to use.

The rubber plunger part is smaller than my last plunger but it seems to do the job. The handle is shorter, too, so if you're tall, you have to bend over more. The base the plunger sits in opens automatically when you lift the plunger handle and closes when you put it back. The base has two levels and moving parts so I can see it is going to be a pain to clean. I think I'll have to take it outside and douse it with a garden hose. The case does look nice in the bathroom though---no one wants to see an old plunger everyday. Update after a few months: I raised rating from 4 stars to 5 because 1) although the rubber portion is smaller, it consistently does the job with much less "push/pull" effort, and 2) it cleans itself very well when rinsed in clean water.

1. Great plunger. I'd been struggling with another plunger with no results, this handled the issue in a jiffy. 2. A little pricey, but I was satisfied. 3. You have to put together the plastic base, but I gave up after 15 minutes. 4. Amazon delivered it in 3 hours (with a small fee). Still, recommended.

This plunger truly earns its name. When my little one clogged the toilet with a bunch of tissue, I was dreading the mess. The OXO Good Grips plunger worked on the FIRST plunge. The design is genius—the accordion-style bell creates a perfect seal and much more pressure than a standard plunger. The long, comfortable grip kept my hands clean and away from the... well, you know. It stores neatly and discreetly. While I hope you never need it, this is the one plunger that will actually solve the problem when you do. Worth every penny. A complete life saver.

This plunger is clearly made for a different market possibly American? The plunger does not fit through the standard toilet size if force the plunger separates from the handle creating a potentially costly situation.

Excellent performance, it fitted the u-bend of the toilet just right, not much effort to plunge either, the handle doesn't hurt my hand like another plunger I purchased before. Nice base that opens like a Venus fly trap, very well contained product 👌
