Shirakiku Prepared Shredded Squid Dried Squid Plain Flavor, 8 Ounce

The dried squid had an extremely good taste, as well as arrived extremely fast. It matched with with soup and tasted great overall.

Bag was much bigger than expected, very good. Obviously tastes fishy, like squid.. so.. if you like fishy you’ll probably like this.Only complaint is that it has a sort of chalky(?) texture on the outside. It makes my teeth feel weird. Not weird enough to keep me from consuming it though.

Little bit of a bite, but a great snack.

This squid tasted good. It was a little sweet, but overall tasty. I first got hooked on dried squid when stationed in Korea. The stuff there wasn’t as sweet, and more salty. It went very well with beer. I have purchased this a few times.

I hadn't had dried squid in years and was really craving it. Unfortunately, I no longer live anywhere near an Asian grocery store so I can't find it locally, so I looked online for it. If you like dried squid, you'll probably like this. Like most types of dried squid, it lists salt and sugar as ingredients, but the sweetness is not overpowering. It tastes like squid, but I assume that if you are looking at dried squid, you like the seafood taste of it.This is also a nice, big bag. It's hard to even find a bag of beef jerky this size for this price, so it seems like a pretty good deal for squid, which is a bit harder to find than beef jerky. I used this in some recipes, but mostly I just like munching on it, like you would much on beef jerky for a snack. Recommended, and I will definitely buy more once I finish this bag! I love squid!

Unfortunately, the product I received had a rancid taste, which made it inedible. I was disappointed by the quality and would not purchase it again. I hope this issue gets resolved in future batches.

It's okay. I don't like that it has sugar in it tho, I was expecting it to be savory.
